In February, we held our second Spirit
Awards event as a celebration of Orange
Spirit – that special something that
gives easyJet people theX factor.
We handed out 15 prizes on the night
to our greatest stars, including the
cabin crew, pilots, office staff, engineers
and ground staff nominated by their
colleagues andmanagers.And we
asked you, our customers, for your help
in identifying the crewmembers who
give exceptional customer service, by
nominating them for a Spirit Award via
spirit.easyJet.com.
We received hundreds of
nominations and after careful review,
we crowned our Cabin Crew of the
Year and Pilot of theYear thanks to
your feedback.
At the heart of the event was
the Spirit of easyJet Award, which
recognises an extraordinarymember of
the easyJet family. Mandy Efthimiadis is
our Cabin Services Manager at London
Gatwick and she was selected for the
prestigious award by easyJet’sAirline
Management Board after they were
inundated by recommendations from
her colleagues and the cabin crew she
leads. To readMandy’s story, please turn
back to page 181. In her honour, we have
named one of our aircraft after her – you
may even be flying on it today!
