Catalan capital. Celebrating both the
city’s patron saint – Jordi (George) –

Witches Night
PRAGUE

Carodejnice
) is a time to party. In
Prague, people gather in Ladronka
Park from 3-10pm for music,
entertainment and games, and finish
with a ceremonial witch bonfire,
accompanied by beer and sausages.

BERLIN
Recycling is a preoccupation for many, but
would they go on a whole tour devoted to the subject?
Visitors to Germany’s capital can now do just that,
after Alternative Berlin’s Green Tour, previously led only
by special request, has proved unexpectedly popular.
Community gardens and a carbon-neutral restaurant in
Kreuzberg, as well as a waste-management plant and
recycling centre are on the agenda. It’s guaranteed to be
the most rubbish tour in town.
