roringWeisberger’s own experience assisting
infamous
Vogue
magazineeditrixAnnaWintour,
the story of Andy Sachs, an aspiring journalist
whohappened intoanunrewarding jobat a fash-
ionmagazine, beganasaproject forWeisberger’s
creative-writingclassandultimatelyturnedintoa
culturalphenomenonnoonecouldhaveanticipated.
“Iwas 25when thebook cameout, and I had
no idea what to expect,” she recalls. Happily,
