A  We quickly outgrew our little house, so in 1986 we bought a bigger one closer to the beach with a bayou in back. In 1976 a vocational-technical center was built in Pascagoula, and Bobbie and I taught there until we retired.A  During those years I also taught evening classes at the vo-tech, community college, and for Ingalla€™s Shipbuilding apprentice program.
During our time on the coast and my two there before Bobbie, we evacuated many times for hurricanes, tropical storms, and warnings, but in 1998 we made the mistake of staying for hurricane Georges as it was predicted to go west. In the fall of 1974 when Bobbie was ready to return to work, a new vocational business education program was started at Pascagoula High School.A  Because she had the required vocational business certification, Bobbie was hired to teach intensive business education, a position she held for about 15 years. Life was good in Pascagoula and Johnny and Bobbie followed Mississippi State basketball while Jay was a player and Mississippi College basketball while Jeff was a player.A  They also were active in First United Methodist Church of Pascagoula and enjoyed activities with close friends.
In response to BP's plans to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight, in waters deeper and rougher than the Deepwater Horizon disaster, Sea Shepherd launches Operation Jeedara.
The Great Australian Bight is rich in beauty and biodiversity, boasting the worlds most significant southern right whale nursery, as well as humpback, sperm, blue and beaked whales.
The crew of the Sea Shepherd ship, Bob Barker, has assisted Gabonese authorities in the arrest of three illegal fishing trawlers in coastal waters off Gabon, Central West Africa.
The arrests followed a three-day coordinated effort between the Marine Nationale (Gabonese Navy), the ANPA (Fisheries Enforcement Agency) and Sea Shepherd that culminated in a successful night raid on the illegal vessels in the early hours of Sunday morning.
British oil giant BP should drop its plans for deepwater oil exploration drilling in the Great Australian Bight after Australiaa€™s offshore oil and gas authority, NOPSEMA, sent back its application for a second time. The announcement formed part of a $1.54m budget for shark hazard mitigation and continues to anger conservationists and the community, which came out in their tens of thousands to oppose lethal drum lines off Western Australiaa€™s coastline.
On the 7th of December 2015, Sea Shepherd Australia Limited instructed EDO NSW to submit a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection seeking photographs and video footage of Japanese whaling in the Southern Ocean in 2008. In 2008, the Australian Customs patrol vessel Oceanic Viking along with A319 aerial surveillance flights, documented the killing of whales in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary in Antarctica.
The Sea Shepherd ship, Bob Barker, has arrived in the Republic of Gabon for the commencement of Operation Albacore, a new campaign to tackle illegal, unregulated and unreported (IUU) fishing, under the direction of the Government of Gabon. Throughout the 2016 tuna fishing season, Gabonese marines (Marine Nationale) and officers with the Fisheries Enforcement Agency (ANPA) will be stationed on-board the Bob Barker, working alongside Sea Shepherd crew to patrol Gabon's sovereign waters.
As BP held its annual general meeting in London on April 14, Sea Shepherd, The Wilderness Society, and the Great Australian Bight Alliance took the fight to save the Great Australian Bight to BPa€™s doorstep.
Coordinated protests in Australia and the United Kingdom took place as BPa€™s shareholders met, with a mock oil spill held at the organisationa€™s head office in Melbourne, and a giant inflatable whale installed outside the AGM in London.
Protestors helped clean up a mock oil spill outside BPa€™s headquarters in Melbourne this morning to highlight the British companya€™s plans to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight. On the other side of the world later today there will also be a protest at BPa€™s annual general meeting in London.
The 6 illegal fishing vessels of the FU YUAN YU fleet are now in China and the final investigation into their fisheries crimes is now in the hands of the Chinese authorities.
Sea Shepherd has offered to hand over the evidence in this case, comprising of 4 kilometres of driftnet, marking beacons, physical sightings, in addition to eye-witnesses, photographs and log-book entries, to the Chinese authorities. On March 29, 2016 at 2027 UTC, the illegal fishing vessel Fu Yuan Yu 076 entered the port of Zhuhai in Guangdong Province in position 22 Degrees 02 Minutes (North); 113 Degrees 04 Minutes (East). This is the second attempt made by the vessel in as many days to call a port after trying to enter Xincun harbour yesterday, and the first instance in which the vessel is well inside of China's jurisdictional control. Sea Shepherda€™s Flagship, Steve Irwin, which is in pursuit of the poaching vessel, has reported the Fu Yuan Yu 076a€™s position to the Chinese government, providing authorities with an immediate opportunity to arrest and investigate the vessel.
The Queensland Fisheries Minister, Leanne Donaldson has revealed in a letter to Independent MP, Peter Wellington, that the Department has requested a permit for additional drum lines in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park for the potential future trialing of new technology such as smart drum lines. The requested permit however, raises concerns, as there would be no need to permanently increase fishing effort within the Great Barrier Reef to trial smart drum lines and the Ministera€™s Office has advised that there are no current plans for the use of smart drum lines. In a statement released today, the Institute for Cetacean Research (ICR), the body behind the Japanese governmenta€™s whaling program, announced the return of the Japanese whaling fleet from its Antarctic slaughter. It is the first time that the Japanese whalers have returned to the Southern Ocean to slaughter whales since the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled its whaling program to be illegal in 2014. The statement confirmed that 333 whales, including a number of pregnant females, have been harpooned in Antarctic waters by the whalers since December. The fishing vessel Fu Yuan Yu 076, one of six vessels documented fishing illegally in the Indian Ocean by Sea Shepherd, has crossed over to South China Sea from the high seas of the Indian Ocean, through the Malacca Straits.
After much anticipation, Sea Shepherd Global has today unveiled the name of its New Patrol Vessel, Ocean Warrior. The ship name was selected by a panel of representatives from Sea Shepherd and the Dutch Postcode Lottery, from over 1,400 entries in Sea Shepherda€™s Name Our New Patrol Vessel competition. The Ministry has been working with international organizations and other authorities and has collected more than 3,000 documents to prove the illegal business structure of Vidal Armadores.
BP is treating the Australian people, the Australian Senate and even Australiaa€™s offshore oil and gas authority (NOPSEMA) with contempt by resubmitting its application to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight before the Senate inquiry into BPa€™s plans has even heard submissions.
The Australian Senatea€™s Environment Committee is looking into the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of BPa€™s planned exploratory oil drilling project and any future oil or gas production in the Great Australian Bight and will report back by May 12th 2016.
Sea Shepherda€™s Flagship, the Steve Irwin, has intercepted a fleet of six illegal fishing vessels, the Fu Yuan Yu fleet, in the Indian Ocean.
The Sea Shepherd ship, under the command of Captain Siddharth Chakravarty, has now engaged in a pursuit of one of the ships, the Fu Yuan YU 076. The six Chinese-flagged vessels were located on the Ninety East Ridge in international waters; an area managed by the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMO). Sea Shepherda€™s Flagship, the Steve Irwin, is en route to the Indian Ocean to confront a killer in our oceans. A fleet of fishing vessels is actively fishing on the high seas of the Indian Ocean using driftnets; a form of fishing banned by the United Nations in 1992 due to its indiscriminate and destructive impact.
Taking advantage of the remoteness of the region, and in the absence of law enforcement, the fleet has demonstrated a resurgence of this out-dated, outlawed practice. Authorities in Indonesia have sunk the last of the a€?Bandit 6a€? toothfish poaching vessels, the Viking, in Pangandaran, West Java. Sea Shepherd representatives were on the ground to film the sinking, which marks the end of over a decade of toothfish poaching in the Southern Ocean at the hands of the Bandit 6, and the conclusion of Sea Shepherda€™s 12th Southern Ocean Defense Campaign, Operation Icefish 2015-16. Site visits for a potential a€?Shark Spottersa€? program have been finalised within Western Australia, where approximately 25 specific beaches were assessed, with a focus on the South-West coast. Representatives from Shark Spotters in Cape Town, South Africa, were brought over to Australia from a crowd-funding initiative started by Sea Shepherd Australia and No Shark Cull Inc. Up to five sites, all situated in the South-West of the state were identified as having potential, with three in particular earmarked for a recommended feasibility trail. Sea Shepherd Captains Peter Hammarstedt and Siddharth Chakravarty have congratulated Spanish authorities on the arrest of six people following raids on the headquarters of known fishing crime syndicate, Vidal Armadores.
Reports indicate that the six arrested, including company owner Antonio Vidal SuA?rez, are accused of illegally fishing for Antarctic and Patagonian toothfish. Last week, Director of Sea Shepherd Netherlands, Geert Vons, and Director of Sea Shepherd Asia, Gary Stokes, visited the Damen shipyard in Turkey to review progress on the construction of Sea Shepherda€™s New Patrol Vessel. The hunt for the last of six known toothfish poaching vessels has ended with the arrest of the Nigerian-flagged Viking in Indonesia. The announcement of the vessela€™s arrest was made at a press conference in Jakarta today, held by Indonesian Fisheries Minister, Susi Pudjiastuti, the Commander of the Western Naval Fleet and other high-ranking Indonesian officials.
The a€?Shark Spottersa€? will be undertaking a range of site visits at popular beaches to determine if the topology lends itself to a similar program, and will be liaising with key stakeholders to discuss their findings. Rare Mobula Rays found by Sea Shepherd crew dead in Queensland Shark Nets  a€“ one with large bites! Sea Shepherd crew aligned with the Apex Harmony Campaign, have made a gruesome discovery of two rare mobula rays, which appear to be Japanese Devilrays, dead in a shark net, 100 meters from each other at Miami Beach on the Gold Coast.
Japanese Devilrays have rarely been documented in Australia, with only two reported sightings throughout Australia recorded according to the Shark Red List Authority. Antarctica is considered one of the last pristine environments in the world, yet it now faces a new threat from industrial scale krill fishing. Following a successful presence at dive shows in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands, Sea Shepherd Global is proud to announce the official launch of a new initiative, Sea Shepherd Dive.
Sea Shepherd Dive has been developed to provide a a€?support and reporta€? network to enable the dive community to get involved with Sea Shepherd and its worldwide mission to stop poachers and illegal operations that are destroying our marine environment. In the vastness of the Southern Ocean, the Japanese whaling fleet has likely been able to illegally slaughter their reduced quota of 333 Minke whales. Because of the expanded area of operations and the fact that they were targeting only a third of their quota, the Japanese whalers were able to get away with violating the verdict of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that Japanese whaling operations in the Southern Ocean should be shut down.
The crackdown on poachers in the Southern Ocean continues with news that authorities in Senegal, West Africa, have detained the internationally wanted toothfish-poaching vessel, Kunlun. Reports allege that the Kunlun had previously falsified its registry, claiming Indonesia as its flag state. As the worlda€™s oceans face a devastating plastic crisis Sea Shepherd Australia today announced a dedicated campaign to combat the growing tide of marine debris in the worlda€™s oceans and waterways.
Marine debris is a globally recognised environmental issue as marine ecosystems world-wide are increasingly affected by human-made refuse, much of which is plastic. The crew of the Sea Shepherd ship, Steve Irwin, has filmed a rare encounter with a Blue whale mother and her calf. The ship, which is currently engaged in Operation Icefish 2015-16 a€“ Sea Shepherda€™s 12th Southern Ocean Defense Campaign a€“ encountered the pair while on the search for illegal activity on the high seas. Blue whales are the largest animals that have ever lived on this planet, growing up to 30 meters in length. Sea Shepherda€™s Flagship, the Steve Irwin, has departed Fremantle, Western Australia for the Southern Ocean. Led by returning Captain, Siddharth Chakravarty, Sea Shepherd will once again defend the pristine waters of Antarctica from poachers, with the aim to shutdown illegal activities in what is the worlda€™s last great wilderness. BP will be facing increasing opposition to its plans to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight, with many environment groups forming an alliance with Traditional elders and locals to campaign against the British companya€™s plans.
The Great Australian Bight Alliance includes Sea Shepherd, Surfrider Foundation Australia, the Wilderness Society, Mirning and Kokatha elders, Oil Free Seas Kangaroo Island and Clean Bight Alliance Australia (West Coast SA). In a Concerns Notice written to both the Daily Telegraph and News Corporation Australia on behalf of Sea Shepherd Australia, it is stated that the article titled a€?Greenies caught up in drum line sabotage scandala€? makes a number of serious and untrue allegations and false imputations against Sea Shepherd and that the article was replicated in a number of other New Corporation outlets such as The Australian, The Courier Mail, The Herald Sun and The Advertiser.
As Sea Shepherd is preparing the Steve Irwin to take on the four vessels of the Japanese whale poachers and two remaining tooth fish poaching boats, the Daily Telegraph has fired a torpedo into our side.
As most of you would be aware, in September this year Sea Shepherd Global launched an SOS Emergency Patrol Appeal to raise funds to replace four of our small boats, confiscated during our direct-action campaigns in the Faroe Islands. The Spitfire, Echo and Farley, as well as the tender of the Brigitte Bardot , were seized by the Danish Navy and Faroese police in 2014 and 2015 while in the line of duty, defending the pilot whales and dolphins in the Faroe Islands. Three Sea Shepherd crew members working on the Apex Harmony shark campaign were questioned by police this morning regarding their activities.
The questioning came about as a result of New South Wales fisheries making a false accusation based on no evidence at all, that the Sea Shepherd crew had de-baited the smart drum lines in Ballina and Byron Bay.
Sea Shepherd Australia is concerned that boaties are at risk due to the lack of information from the New South Walesa€™ Government regarding the placement of listening stations and smart drum lines in Ballina and Byron Bay.
Without a notice to mariners regarding the location of these new technologies, boaties run the risk of running into and over smart drum lines during rough conditions and poor lighting. A national poll, commissioned by Sea Shepherd Australia and undertaken by Australian market research company Roy Morgan Research, has shown that 76.9% of Australians want the Federal Government to send a ship to oppose Japanese whaling in the Southern Ocean.
National Shark Campaign Coordinator for Sea Shepherd, Natalie Banks was asked to assist with the release of a€?Oliviaa€?, a Hawksbill Turtle at Julian Rocks in New South Wales today, after Australian Seabird Rescue (which also rescues turtles) heard about the number of turtles caught on drum lines within Queensland. Australian Seabird Rescue, based in Ballina in northern New South Wales, made a strategic decision to release a€?Oliviaa€? at a Marine Park where there are no drum lines in place, and held off on the release until they knew for sure that no smart drum lines were in New South Walesa€™ water. Sea Shepherd Australia is calling on the New South Wales Government for greater transparency regarding the use of smart drum lines, stating that the public has a right to know what is being caught and when. The smart drum lines, which have been implemented in Ballina and Coffs Harbour have been utilised without any transparency on catch data and response times to release animals caught on the hook.
Yesterday, a pod of 11 pilot whales was slaughtered at the killing beach of FuglafirA°i in the Faroe Islands.
CEO of Sea Shepherd Global, Captain Alex Cornelissen, has condemned Japana€™s plans to return to the Southern Ocean to slaughter whales this austral summer.

Sea Shepherd has slammed the Queensland Department of Fisheriesa€™ proposal to increase drum lines in the Great Barrier Reef in a submission to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, stating that the proposal would add further pressures to the already fragile reef.
The submission, written by National Shark Campaign Coordinator for Sea Shepherd, Natalie Banks specifies the lack of justification for the proposed increased of approximately 65 drum lines into the World Heritage site; stipulating that there has not been an unwanted shark encounter within the famous tourist site, for almost 30 years.
Sea Shepherd Australia is disappointed that the NSW Government has ignored advice from a independent review into non-lethal options to mitigate shark encounters in the state. The disappointment comes after Premier Mike Baird, announced that smart drum lines would be used in northern New South Wales as a result of increased shark activity in the area over the past 12 months.
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is proud to be one of 30 environmental groups which have bestowed the international a€?dishonor" of being "Shark Enemy 2016a€? upon Luis Guillermo Solis Rivera, the President of Costa Rica. Sea Shepherd Global CEO, Captain Alex Cornelissen, has been served with a summons to appear in court in the Faroe Islands. Captain Cornelissen, a Dutch national, was issued with the notice by a Danish police officer outside the Danish parliament building yesterday.
Captain Paul Watson files a petition against Costa Rica for violating his rights through politically motivated legal proceedings. An affidavit provided by Sea Shepherda€™s Captain Peter Hammarstedt was submitted as evidence in a contempt case against Japanese whaling company, Kyodo Senpaku Kaisha Ltd (Kyodo), in the Australian Federal Court in Sydney, Australia. In 2008, Humane Society International (HSI) successfully obtained a declaration in the Federal Court that Kyodo was breaking Australian law by killing whales in Antarctica under the guise of scientific research, and also obtained an injunction ordering the company to stop killing whales in the Australian Whale Sanctuary. Sea Shepherd Australia has engaged a fourth-year evolutionary biology student from Harvard University to assist with analysing reams of information secured as part of a Freedom of Information request regarding the catch data associated with the Queensland Shark Control Program. Carolyn Pushaw, who is studying in Australia with the School for International Training, contacted Sea Shepherd around two months ago to indicate her interest in helping with the Apex Harmony Campaign. Sea Shepherd has long been a champion of non-violent direct action in defense of the world's oceans. For this reason we are extremely proud to partner with 5 Gyres in combating what has been described as a€?the deadliest predator of the sea*a€? a€“ marine plastic. Following the unprecedented success of Operation Icefish, Sea Shepherd today announced its second campaign to target illegal Patagonian and Antarctic toothfish operators in the Southern Ocean; Operation Icefish 2015-16. Led by returning Captain, Sid Chakravarty, Sea Shepherd will once again focus its attention on defending the pristine waters of Antarctica, with the aim to eliminate illegal fishing of vulnerable toothfish from the region. After months of dealing with red tape and administrative hold ups within the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, Sea Shepherd Australia is putting the Queensland Government on notice with a vote of no confidence in government authorities when it comes to shark management in the state.
Sea Shepherd Australia is beyond shocked upon learning that the Queensland Department of Fisheries is looking to increase the number of drum lines that require a permit to be used within the Great Barrier Reef from 148 to 213; an increase of 65 drum lines. The revelation comes as the Department of Fisheries released an information pack outlining their proposal, which the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority has released and made available, in order to collate public submissions. The NSW Government recently announced a world first $16 million shark strategy which will see the trial this summer of several new technologies such as barrier nets, in-water sonar buoys and increased aerial surveillance at several locations along the NSW coast. NSW Apex Harmony Coordinator Allyson Jennings commends Premier Mike Baird and NSW DPI Minister Niall Blair for taking a proactive and considered approach.
Updated catch figures for the New South Wales shark meshing program has shown that 17,131 marine animals have been caught by the program since 1950; the majority being hammerhead sharks and rays. Sea Shepherd Australia has also been looking at mortality rates of catches within the program and has found of the 4,859 Hammerhead sharks caught in the program and accounting for almost a third of the catch, 97% have died over the past 20 years, as a direct result of being caught in the nets. Officers of Scuttled Poaching Vessel, Thunder, Sentenced to Jail and Fined 15 Million Euros. Information from the Australian Lifeguard Service and Surf Life Saving NSW regarding beach attendance, in addition to tourism information, has shown time and again, that shark encounters play no role in regards to visitor numbers to beaches or regions of New South Wales. Natalie Banks, National Shark Campaign Coordinator states that data available from July 2009 onwards points to at least 13 examples of increases in beach attendance and tourism after a shark encounter or fatality, and states that New South Wales authorities are ignoring the empirical data available to them.
After extensive preparation and in cooperation with the National Judicial Authority of Ecuador and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Sea Shepherd Galapagos organized its first-ever capacity-building course on the landmark World Heritage Convention and its application in the Galapagos Islands. The Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (the World Heritage Convention) is a successful global instrument for the protection of cultural and natural heritage.
The Dutch-registered Sea Shepherd ships Sam Simon and Bob Barker have arrived in the port of Bremen, Germany, marking the official conclusion of Sea Shepherda€™s sixth Faroe Islands Pilot Whale Defense Campaign, Operation Sleppid Grindini.
The ships join Sea Shepherda€™s Australian-registered fast trimaran, Brigitte Bardot, which returned to Bremen from the Faroe Islands in late September. Operation Saimaa Seal was set up to protect the world's most endangered seal and one of the most endangered mammals in the world, the Saimaa ringed seal of Lake Saimaa, Finland. The Saimaa ringed seal is on the brink of extinction with experts predicting that the species will be completely wiped-out within a few decades. One of the biggest threats to the critically endangered Seal is illegal fishnets and fish traps. I had already been called for my army physical and figured I would be drafted soon, so I just went ahead and enlisted in the Army for three years.A  I took my basic training at Ft. I always thought it was pretty amazing that the letter got delivered to me on that ship in the middle of the ocean, from Neshoba to the Atlantic in less than nine days.A  We disembarked in Bremerhaven and boarded a train that took us to Kaiserslautern. It is also Australia's most important sea lion nursery and supports orcas, great white sharks, southern blue fin tuna and other fish down to the small pelagic.
Limited photo and video evidence of the illegal killing of Minke whales was initially released to the media by Australian authorities but subsequent attempts to access the full range of evidence gathered have been denied.
These patrols will provide a vehicle for law enforcement to defend, conserve and protect critical tuna habitat in Central West Africa from April through to September 2016. The protests were held in opposition to BPa€™s plans to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight. BPa€™s plans for the Bight have also been targeted by two recent protests in London calling for the British Museum to end its BP sponsorship deal. Over the last 3 months, Sea Shepherd has provided the authorities with undeniable proof of this fleeta€™s engagement in illegal fishing with their operations violating 11 different International regulations and Chinese law. However, the offer has been turned down by the authorities who have instead decided to undertake a private investigation. The vessel entered the Chinese Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) on March 22, 2016 at 0836 UTC, Southwest of Nansha Qundao (Spratly Island) bordering the Indonesian EEZ. Sea Shepherda€™s Flagship, the Steve Irwin, remains on the tail of the illegal vessel ensuring that its location is relayed to the relevant authorities across the world, including authorities in China. Because of multiple entries of the winning name, a supervised raffle was used to select the competition winner, Mrs.
This was the last of a series of separately constructed large sections that are being assembled. This allowed the vessel to be detained in Senegal on formalities regarding its certification and flag status.
The shipa€™s departure marks the official commencement of the organizationa€™s 12th Southern Ocean Defense Campaign, Operation Icefish 2015-16. It is the sixth grindadrA?p in the archipelago this year, and brings the total amount of pilot whales slaughtered in the 2015 drive hunts to 501. The coalition is calling upon the President to turn Costa Rica back into a country with a "true Blue agenda,a€? a country its citizens can be proud of, as well as the marine conservation leader that the world expects it to be. He, along with fellow Dutch nationals, Director of Sea Shepherd Netherlands, Geert Vons, and legal council for Sea Shepherd, LiesbethZegveld, had just finished a presentation on the grindadrA?p to a group of Danish parliamentarians when the incident occurred.
If successful, this petition could bring an end to a lengthy battle between Captain Watson and the Costa Rican government, including potential dismissal of the Interpol Red Notice it issued in 2012 requesting his arrest and extradition. For the past three weeks, she has been conducting a research project to assist the shark campaign coordinators in understanding trends and forecasts in relation to the Queensland Shark Control Program.
As the threats facing our marine ecosystems grow and become more complex, it is vital we expand the number of tools in our arsenal, form new alliances, and adopt new, innovative multi-pronged approaches to stem the tide of oceanic destruction. Each year millions of tonnes of plastic litter enter our oceans and waterways injuring and killing more than a million birds and 100 million marine animals (including fish, turtles, whales) through entanglement, suffocation and ingestion.
Additionally, there will be further scientific research, expansion of current tagging programs plus further public education. The three have been sentenced to between 32 and 36 months in jail each for recklessness and forgery, and have been fined 15 million euros for charges relating to pollution and damage to the environment.
The returning crews received a heroa€™s welcome as supporters gathered to greet them following the grueling three and a half month long campaign. My car was a welcome sight when I finally got to the docks where it was the next day, and after getting it, I found my way south and headed home.A  I had driven in Paris, Rome, and on the autobahns of Germany and thought I had seen the worlda€™s craziest and most reckless drivers, but New Yorkers were right in there with them. Celebrity supporter Clive Standen of hit TV series Vikings attended the London event to show his support. We want to thank everyone who entered the competition to help us write conservation history,a€? he said. Health supplement companies use the speciesa€™ a€?abundancea€? as a means to justify their harvest, however, theya€™re abundant for a very good reason. In 2014, Knuckey and Koopman prepared a report advising the Australian Government on the sustainable harvesting of CITES Appendix II shark species. Of the breakdown, almost 70% of Liberal voters also want Prime Minister Turnbull and Environment Minister Hunt to stop turning a blind eye to the slaughter," said Jeff Hansen, Sea Shepherd Australia Managing Director.
Our award-winning, festival loving horror short MASSACRE AT FEMUR CREEK is now available for purchase on DVD for a great low price.
I was then sent to Germany, where I was stationed with the 32nd Artillery Brigade (became the 32nd Army Air Defense Command in 1966) in Kaiserslautern. Predators of krill, such as whales, can consume up for 4 tonnes of krill in a single day - thata€™s 40 million individuals.
Japanese whaling is in contempt of the Australian Federal Court and found to be illegal by the highest international court, the International Court of Justice," said Jeff Hansen, Managing Director Sea Shepherd Australia. He has also spoken via Skype to the United Nations, to conferences in numerous countries and given TED talks in Australia, Canada and the USA.
But considering it's an homage to 80's slasher movies, we are proud to announce the film will also be getting a release on VHS format, which is the perfect way to commemorate our little film. I use the term a€?individualsa€™ because krill are a very misrepresented and undervalued species.
