Yeah, I would definitely call your doc and ask for a beta test to check qualitative and quantitative. If it seems like your little one's growth has slowed down dramatically compared with her first year, you're right. Nothing says "she's not so little anymore" like watching your child pedal around on a tricycle or a bicycle. A 2-year-old wears her heart on her sleeve — and in her voice, her fists, her stamping feet, and her crocodile tears. By age 2, your child has gained a better sense of size, quantity, and other spatial relationships. This internet site provides information of a general nature and is designed for educational purposes only. However, went to the doctor yesterday at 11 dpo and their urine test was negative and my beta was 5.
Looks positive, I would wait 3-4 days and get your beta numbers again to make sure they are doubling.
For preschoolers, the line between fantasy and reality is blurry, which may explain their tendency to lie.
A chemical pregnancy is actually a very early miscarriage which takes place at a time when ultrasound scan could not show a gestational sac. The excitement of getting a positive pregnancy test usually ends up with getting a period shortly after or b y a negative test when the test is repeated. A chemical pregnancy occurs when an egg is fertilized but it does not implant on the uterine wall. There are a number of possible cause and is very common and usually goes unidentified since not all woman take a pregnancy test that early. You are using Internet Explorer 6 or older, which is no longer fully supported on this site. This post isn't to scare anyone, nor do I want people seeing similarities and assuming the worse. Pre-Seed, the sperm-friendly lubricant (and only lube that should be used while trying-to-conceive) is a staple of the TTC community.
I never posted when I conceived my son after a year and a half of trying, despite reading BFP stories constantly during each 2WW!
I thought getting pregnant would be easier second time around as everyone tells you it will be, so I was starting to get a little worried each time my period arrived and started to get the old feelings back of "it's never going to happen!" and "why is everyone around me pregnant!?" However, I didn't have the same turmoil as the first time, as I had my beautiful 2 and a half year old bouncing boy, and that alone is the most amazing gift. Few days before BFP: Pinchy, pulling sensations, light cramps, slight back ache, sore boobs and nipples, bloated tummy. Tested today after period didn't show (was expecting around 2days ago) and got very strong BFP on 3 tests late in the afternoon! Only other possible symptoms were maybe needing to wee slightly more and feeling extra hungry. I should also mention that I had an HSG last month, so this was my second cycle of the so-called "heightened fertility" that can be a side-effect of that test.
Now that I'm paying a bit more attention, I feel some tugging and pinching just beneath my belly button, and my cravings make much more sense.
My husband an I ttcd for 16months and of the last 4 months of that I was taking 1500mg metformin and finally fell pregnant with our beautiful daughter Matilda. I was taking 1500mg slow release metformin and began my first round of Clomid 50mg when I was 5months post partum.
We have been trying for around 7 months (I'm 34) and in our 7th month – we decided to use Pre-Seed. I also didn’t seem to get on with ovulation kits in general so I decided to go with what my body was telling me – the usual back ache and dull pain in my side would often be the best giveaway for me.
Well anyway during the 2ww – I can’t say I felt any different really (well not that I noticed), no implantation bleeding (although I was sure I had this previously but then would get BFNs and my period would arrive) no cramping, nothing to write home about really until the day my period was due to arrive and my boobs were incredibly sore which never happens to me when I get my period. Hi all I have read the BFP stories on this board for months and thought I should offer some hope to those of you trying to conceive! My symptoms has been minimal the one thing I have noticed is starting post o day 7 I became very hot and I am always cold, we are talking hot flashes and running the AC all night hot!! We've only been trying for 3 months, but I have to say I was feeing pretty discouraged that we weren't instantly pregnant. Followed Sperm Meets Egg Plan, using Soft Cups, Preseed, and took Mucinex during fertile period. I have a retroverted uterus, so we DTD with me laying on my stomach and my hips propped up on a pillow. My cycles are pretty consistent, around 27 days but recently I have been spotting leading up to AF.

Apr 16 - 11DPO - Cramps gone, enjoyed the day with my family and didn't think about anything. Apr 17 - 12DPO - No sign of AF, ran to the bathroom every chance I could to check for spotting. I currently have an almost 18 month old, and my husband and I started TTC #2 back in December, wanting them to be about 2 years apart. In addition to those things, I also stayed laying down for at least half an hour after BDing.
I'm so excited and still in shock and just wanted to give others hope that even with lack of obvious symptoms that you CAN be pregnant!
I'll try to make this short and quick because Im at work but I wanted to post my DPO story since you ladies got me through my terrible TWW! We used preseed, baby aspirin, and I laid in bed for about 20 minutes after every BD during my ovulation window.
I researched and read that most women are extra fertile so we decided not to wait and ended up getting pregnant with a very sticky baby (I got a positive at 8 dpo and had lines that were VERY dark by 12 dpo). I would assume you would count your cp and cd 1 so your due date would be Nov 22 and you would be about 3 weeks. The only evidence that indicates that the woman got pregnant is that she gets a positive pregnancy test which was done at a very early time. As a result of fertilization the pregnancy hormone beta HCG starts to be produced in the body.
This is just for anyone who may have worries to have a look and compare, but remember that every one is different and just because my outcome was bad, doesn't mean it is for everyone. If you have any concerns about your own health or the health of your child, you should always consult a doctor or other healthcare professional. We love it, and we'd hazard a guess that all these ladies on this page with BFPs speak highly of it as well! My cycles are irregular (between 5 and 6 weeks) but this is a huge improvement from before I got pregnant. The only thing really that ws different from usual PM symptoms were the pulling feelings and no PMT, actually felt full of energy. Sent hubby to get the tests on way home from work as we are potty training DS so totally housebound!
I have always been the first person to scoff when someone tells me it will happen when I stop trying. One thing I will say is that the measurement guidelines on the box were a little too generous for us and I only used half the amount described as otherwise it would have been a bit too much!
I also got some contracting-type pains in my lower pelvis while I was in a meeting at work and I thought that was odd. I have PCOS and conceived naturally not planned 3 years ago when my daughter was 6 months old we decided to start trying for a second one, it wasn't that easy! I wish you all luck don't be afraid to go to a reproductive md, and endocrinologists also can provide a wealth of information and support for those with PCOS!
This will be baby #3 for us (I'm 30 years old), and my first two babies we got pregnant the first go round, so I just assumed it would be that easy this time! Actually had gotten a positive ovulation strip on CD 14 and 15, and by CD 16 it was negative, but this is the day that FF chose as my O day. Feeling grumpy and irritable that my temp as gone down three days in a row, I feel like I for sure cannot be pregnant. I don't feel pregnant so I have coffee and feel weird and jittery (possibly because I've been abstaining from caffeine for so long).
Decide to take a cheap pregnancy test (Easy at Home Brand), and I am amazed that there is a very definite faint line!! Most of my pregnancy symptoms were so similar or identical to PMS, so I really wasn't holding out much hope (although at the beginning of this cycle I did have a good feeling about this being our cycle to conceive, but then after not really feeling pregnant I lost hope). I wanted to post some of the obstacles we faced in the title to give people some hope, as I gained so much insight from all of you. I'm still having some cramping and back aches but Im hoping that's just my uterus preparing for baby #2! I'm happy to say on our 4th cycle TTC we were finally successful and are due in December 2016. Usually I'm all for low-fat, but after my previous period I was scouring the internet for ways to improve fertility and better my chances of conceiving when I came across several articles touting the benefit of those extra hormones in whole milk which can aid in healthy ovulation. This was another one of the things I found online saying how important B vitamins can be in regards to healthy ovulation.
We BD the evening I got my + OPK, the next day (day of ovulation, confirmed by temping), and the day after that.

But I would try testing this afternoon to see if the lines are dark in the afternoon as well, not just FMU. Measuring this hormone in the blood or urine is the first documentation of being pregnant and since a number of pregnancy tests available in the market today can detect this hormone at a very early stage the woman thinks she is pregnant but since the implantation fails this very early miscarriage occurs at a time just around the expected time of periods and without the gestational sac being formed. I really wasn't expecting a BFP as Ive seen so many BFNs over the last 6 months, I was getting scared of testing.
I have an idea of when I ovulated because it's the FIRST TIME in this long journey that I've had anything even resembling EWCM and I got super frisky. After obsessing over every symptom the last two cycles, and being so disappointed with a BFNs, I tried to take it easy this time and not read to much into every little thing. Also, CD 15 and CD 16 I had what felt like bad menstrual cramps (o pain?) but I was also gassy and constipated so cramping could have been related to that. I put the Soft Cups in after about an hour with a bit of preseed in it, and kept them in 8-12 hours. Doctors have always assured me this would not affect my fertility, but I was still worried. I checked my calendar and realized AF was due on the 16th, not the 18th as I had previously thought.
I agree to get your numbers ran again cause its always about the doubling not the number itself. Go to the BC due date calculator, put in each of those dates and just use the date in the middle as your EDD until your ultrasound. So, please keep in mind that these DPO's are rough estimates, since I cannot say for absolutely certain the day I ovulated. It only took about 30 seconds for a faint line to show up, which quickly developed into a blazing BFP!!
I know I haven't really been trying that long (only 3 cycles) but it felt like the longest and most frustrating 3 months ever. And when you get your Pre-Seed assisted BFP and you're ready to give credit where credit is due, by all means, send us your symptoms here! My mum and my sister both have irregular cycles too, but both got pregnant first time of trying. When I conceived DS I knew I was pregnant as had a strange stabby feeling, like something was burrowing into my uterus, sounds strange but true! I monitored my cycle using opks and went to my endocrinologist she upped my synthroid dose to lower my thyroid even more and increased my dose of metformin to 1000mg twice a day. My first two were conceived on our first month trying so I wasn't mentally or emotionally prepared for anything like this. If this were any other cycle, you would have known how I was feeling down to the minute during my 2ww, but this month I tracked NOTHING. Finally after trying nothing was happening, went back to fertility md and he prescribed femara 2.5mg cd 3-7 this is post o day 9 and I got 6 different faint but there BFP's.
In fact, I was so sure AF was coming as I hardly ever get symptoms other than increased hunger and fatigue a few days before my period arrives. When I went back to look 20 min later is was as dark as it could be but I don't know if that counts.
But then when I realized I miscalculated, i threw out my entire plan and just tested everyday. Closer to my due date, I started feeling extremely moody for no apparent reason (this is unusual for me before AF), minor nausea, as well as very tired and hungrier than usual - I just assumed my period was on it's way. I think I O'd on March 28th but did not test this time because I was upset about the CP and wasn't sure if I wanted to try right away. The day my period was due, I had some very minor cramping which felt slightly different from AF cramps and a "stabbing" sensation around my cervix, which I don't remember feeling even in my last pregnancy.
This was a stark contrast from my first pregnancy - I had virtually no cramping, no implantation bleeding or spotting, and no change in cm (still just watery, sticky cm like usual before my period). I read somewhere online that this can happen to some women who take it, so that must be me! Stopped taking both, and felt really awful (they made me feel great, full of energy) but gradually felt better as they left my system and the spotting subsided after a few days.
