Along with a select number of media outlets from Long Island, we were invited to the unveiling of the new Summer Menu.
The main entrees consisted of two seasonal items; Wild Alaskan Copper River Salmon and Piedmontese All-Natural Bone-in Strip Steak, a steak that is grass-fed and naturally raised.
These menu items will be available for the next few months, so now’s the time to hit up Seasons 52 and enjoy the experience. Scentre Group inherits Westfield Group’s long and successful track record of shopping centre development in Australia and New Zealand.
Scentre Group has a future development pipeline in excess of $3.0 billion and in 2015 commenced $830 million in new developments including Chatswood in Sydney and North Lakes in Brisbane. Westfield Kotara is one of two major shopping centres to serve metropolitan Newcastle, located 6 kilometres south-west of Newcastle’s CBD. Westfield North Lakes is located 25 kilometres north of Brisbane’s CBD in one of the region’s fastest growing areas. Westfield Chatswood is located in the affluent Northern Suburbs of Sydney, approximately 11 kilometres from the CBD. A development application was recently approved for Westfield Innaloo to expand andcreate a world-class lifestyle hub for Perth’s northern suburbs.
The $355 million redevelopment of Westfield Chermside includes the construction of a second level gallery mall with around 95 retailers, which will connect with the upper levels of Myer and David Jones department stores, and a new entertainment and lifestyle leisure precinct.
Westfield Marion is located 12kms south of the Adelaide CBD and is the largest shopping centre in South Australia with a GLA of 135,241sqm.
A new burger haven has popped up within the last year or so in Garden City and it’s called The Burger Spot.
The setting is casual with bright colors and the business really picks up once the kids hit lunchtime.
The Capital Grille will be the second Darden Restaurant to open in Roosevelt Field Mall within the past year when it debuts on October 11, 2012 to the general public. A sister-restaurant to Seasons 52, located just a few steps away on the outer-side of the Roosevelt Field Mall, we can expect top quality fare at this new and exciting location. We haven’t gotten into the restaurant yet, but we did observe that they were placing the finishing touches on the interior of the restaurant and are now hiring. Foodies had the chance to sample world cuisine at an annual festival in Welwyn Garden City. Last year for a few days, the city square in central Melbourne was transformed into a fantastic productive edible garden thanks to Diggers Club.
Well, they're at it again this year as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival between 4th - 19th March 2011.

Of particular note to Morelanders is the food swap involving the Coburg Kitchen Garden and other community groups on Saturday 12th from 11am. Apart from this, you'll also find gardening workshops (for kids and grown ups), cooking demos and stalls. Click the big Sign Up button above if you want us send you urban ag, local food and related news, events, stories and ideas from Moreland, Melbourne and the wider world. Something to say?If you have something you'd like to see posted here or a feature suggestion, let us know here. They’re Florida based and have been growing by leaps and bounds with new locations opening up throughout the country. We were shown to the upstairs private dining area that is kept separate from the main dining area, and mostly used for private events. An organic arugula salad with watermelon, grilled golden beets, goat cheese, jicama and toasted pistachios was the perfect summer salad while the Summer Vegetarian Tasting filled with quinoa, soft taco, vegetables and tofu was hearty and delicious.
We don’t expect these to stay on the menu in perpetuity because of the freshness of the season, but while they are in service, they will certainly be enjoyed.
Both these projects, along with Kotara in Newcastle and Hurstville in Sydney were completed in November 2015. The centre caters to a trade area population of approximately 382,000 residents and offers 260 retailers across a broad range.
The centre is well positioned with direct access to the M1 motorway, linking the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The centre has 274 retailers and caters to a trade area population of close to 435,000 residents. The plans feature a town centre surrounded by active street fronts and exceptional public spaces, contemporary double-height retail and a modern roof-top entertainment precinct. It comprises over 330 specialties, an 800-seat food court, and one of the largest cinemas in Australia. This is the perfect place to pick up (or dine in) for a quick meal that won’t set you back in terms of cost. Steaks and seafood will be on the menu and you’ll be dining in style with the upscale atmosphere. It looks like the dining options at Roosevelt Field in Garden City are only getting better and better.
It’s a high-end restaurant that focuses on healthy dishes, superior ambience and carefully selected wine options. The spin here is that no dish is greater than 500 calories, so you can enjoy a full meal without the guilt.

We were then walked through the new menu, along with a special wine pairing for each course, selected by their Master Sommelier, George Miliotes.
They will travel far and wide to find the best for product for their diners (food and wine, together) and package it together to make an intimate night out. Westfield Kotara has a strong fashion offer and is home to Newcastle’s only David Jones department store . Westfield North Lakes serves a trade area population of close to 360,000 people, with a total spending capacity over $4 billion. Located in the heart of Chatswood’s CBD, the centre also benefits from standing amongst the large office workforce in this area.
Works commencing in late 2015 will create a fresh food market with a new ALDI supermarket and around 14 specialty food retailers. Garden City is home to a large amount of great restaurants; due to its perfect position as a walking village and the large population in the immediate area, so this is the perfect time and place for the Burger Spot to open.
The specialty burgers are all $9, or you could make your own hamburger, cheeseburger or turkey burger and add toppings and cheeses for an additional cost.
Plus, the quality is what you would expect at any high-end restaurant, so you can rest assured that a night out at Seasons 52 is a night well spent.
In November 2015 a $55 million project was completed with new rooftop dining and entertainment precinct with 9 new restaurants and a performance stage. Anchored by major retailers including Myer, Target, BIG W, Coles and Woolworths, the centre continues to experience strong sales growth year on year. In November 2015 a $125 million project was completed with a major upgrade to the Victoria Avenue facade, new international fast fashion and specialty stores, and an authentic Asian dining market. In November 2015 an $80 million project opened with a new fresh food market and a casual dining precinct and a state-of-the-art children’s playground. The ingredients and the toppings are of the best quality, and the beef that is used in the burgers is grass fed 100% USDA Angus beef. An Events Cinemas complex will open at Easter and a new project currently underway will add a further 60 stores including K-Mart and JB Hi-FI HOMEin a new mall connecting the existing centre to a new IKEA-owned store currently under construction.
