Our students listed here have completed our previous 80 hour classroom training by attending all five 16 hour courses taught by David Morin, LMT. Welcome to Health Matters Seminars! There are many techniques courses but I don't know of any other series that covers the essentials of clinical practice with this depth: Essentials of Clinical Practice, Specific Problems Effectively Addressed, Assessment, Hands-on Techniques, Rehabilitation Exercises, Therapeutic Hydrotherapy, Soft Tissue Pathologies, Comprehensive Illustrated Course Manuals, DVD's of the Assessment Protocols, Hands-on Techniques and Rehabilitation Exercises, NCBTMB Approved. The Indian Head Massage (IHM) or shirobhyanga, is a modality that has its roots in the healing practice of Ayurveda.
Indian Head Massage is a practice which is beneficial in relieving headaches, stress, insomnia, “computer shoulders” and depression – it works on an energetic, emotional and physical level.
Tuition is fully refundable until one week prior to the course at which point no refunds will be made.

This massage technique, practiced with the client seated, has a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating effect through work on the “marma” or pressure points and various massage techniques on the head and face.
She was strongly drawn to the wellness path and shares a diverse 15 year background in Ayurveda, specializing in nutrition and aromatherapy. If a student is unable to attend for any reason, payment received will be kept on file as a credit and can be used for any other VSBM program or course within one year.
The massage is a half hour practice which also includes the upper arms, neck, and shoulders and focuses on releasing tension in the body, as well as mental stress.
The oils used on the scalp are optional and are wild-crafted organic Ayurvedic oils, used traditionally to relieve stress, nourish the scalp and address issues of hair loss and dry scalp.

After studying at The Wise Earth School of Ayurveda, she went on to graduate as an Ayurvedic Practitioner from Bastyr University.
In 2003 Glynnis founded The Mystic Masala, a fair trade company that creates Ayurvedic oils, candles, malas and soaps. Despite a full dance card, Glynnis continues to teach practical aromatherapy, self-care workshops, Indian Head Massage as well as running online guided cleanses and exotic retreats.
