Dear Woodlake resident: Vote in Richmond's Best & Worst! Today is your last chance to vote in the annual reader's survey from Richmond Magazine. Woodlake fits the bill for "Best Suburban Community!" (Please note that a category also exists for Best New Suburban Community, which you will reach prior to the question that applies to existing communities.) Many of our Woodlake businesses are a great match for other categories throughout the community. Let's spread the word that Woodlake is a fantastic place to live, work and play! Here are just a few of the reasons why Woodlake is such a fun place to live and play: Enjoy Disney Pixar's Brave under the stars on Friday night at 8:30 PM. Bring your family, popcorn, and a blanket or chairs, and watch the first moonlight movie of the season. Free to Woodlake residents and their accompanied guests. Honor our veterans and troops at our annual Memorial Day Concert. On Saturday, May 25*, Woodlake residents and their guests are invited to East West Legacy Park from 5 - 9 p.m. We'll provide the entertainment with The Fender Benders, along with pontoon rides, face painting and glow sticks. Concessions will be available as well. *Raindate Sunday, May 26. Have Fun in the Sun at Community Weekend at SRC. Due to the unseasonably cool weather and resulting chilly water temperatures, we've rescheduled the Woodlake Community weekend for May 31 - June 2. All Woodlake residents are invited to have a blast at the SRC, from Friday Cheers through the end of the day on Sunday. Visit the membership office at the AFC for your family pass (if you are not a current WSRC member). Make it a Neighborhood Night with the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Take your family out to the ball game for community night on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:35 p.m. Tickets available at WCA. Click here for more details. Sign up now for Standup Paddleboarding Classes.
