USE TWITTER-LISTS TO ORGANIZE YOUR CONTACTS

I've found the use of private twitter list a great way to organise my twitter friends and followers.

- As a feed reader: Some twitter accounts mainly posts auto or semi-automatic posting from related blogs or such, often following these will make anything else drown in their postings, why not just put them in a list instead of following them?

Another positive side is that it reduces the request your 3d party client makes to twitter.

- as a sandbox: People who is following me, but I have yet to decide if I'm going to follow I put on a list so I can keep track of their postings while deciding.

- as a shortcut: great if you have a lot of followers and a few you really want to keep up with

the benefit of twitter lists is also that in is transported across your twitter clients contra having to set up manual filters on each client.
