Have you ever in the situation that the iPhone 5g can’t charge and connect the computer when the charging flex is totally fine? Normally, there are two problems with the small charging IC: one is the IC burned, or the IC missing. Replacing a small charging IC takes much time and repair cost is expensive, so some customers can’t accept that. Today we visited a very cool iPhone repair expert, and he told us his secret: fix small charging IC problems with a tiny enameled wire. When the iPhone 5g small charging IC was disabled or missing, you just need to connect the electric circuits of the motherboard. It is a common problem that your iPhone charges up sluggishly and you have to wait an awful long time to fill complete juice in the battery. The most obvious reason of slow charging of your iPhone is the loose connection caused by dust or debris that accumulates with time in the lightning port. If your device contains original charger with clean lightning port contacts, then slow charging might be due to faulty software that hinders the charging process. If your iPhone 5 charging slow problem still persists, you need to explore more solutions online. If your iPhone 5 isn't charging anymore, it's possible that either liquid came into contact with your charge port, or one of the pins are broken. Before beginning any repair, always power your iPhone down completely using the Slide to power off option.
To begin, use your security screwdriver to remove the two screws in the bottom of your iPhone 5 that sit on either side of the dock. Once the screen is free, swing up the display assembly so you can get to the shield that is holding the cables in place. Alternate method: If you're having issues pulling the screen up with a suction cup, you may insert a razor blade on the outer edge of either screw hold and pry upwards slightly. I'll preface this section by saying the plastic battery tabs to pull to release them are useless. We are now ready to remove the battery, which is the hardest part and must be done with extreme caution as to prevent puncturing it or causing damage to the logic board.
In order to remove the battery, start at the top left corner and put your opening tool between the casing and the battery. By the time you get to the bottom the adhesive should be nearly free, or free enough for you to grab hold of the battery and carefully break the rest and remove it.
It is important while performing the steps above that you're careful to not puncture or bend the battery.
Start removing the dock itself by using your #000 Phillips screwdriver to remove the seven screws shown below that hold the dock assembly in place. Turn your iPhone 5 around on the table so you can gently wedge the flat end of your spudger tool between the headphone jack and rear casing. Now do the same thing under the Lightning dock but take note of cables running underneath it so you don't tear them.
Keep working your way around the bottom until you get to the part under the loud speaker assembly. You should now be able to slide the loud speaker assembly out from underneath the logic board. Now focus on removing the rest of the Lightning dock cable from the back of the rear casing, again being mindful of the logic board's position.
Before beginning to replace the dock assembly, take note of the four silver rings that sit around the screw threads in the back casing. The best place to start replacing the dock connector assembly is with the Lightning dock itself.

Once you've gotten everything lined up, go ahead and replace all the rest of the screws you initially removed.
Lastly, reconnect the dock connector cable and replace the shield with your #000 Phillips screwdriver. Reconnect the battery connector by carefully lining it up and pressing firmly with your finger.
Replace the two screws that sit on either side of the Lightning dock using your security screwdriver.

If your iPhone 5 camera is damaged or not working, you might be able to repair it on your own. It is recommended to use a bobby pin to slowly clean the trash accumulating in the lightning port. If its circuitry is not working properly, it will not provide sufficient current to charge your cell. You must have your iPhone 5 checked from official Apple retailer to diagnose the software issues with the charging. Other symptoms of a bad dock connector can include iTunes not recognizing your iPhone when it's plugged into the computer. If you're in the United States or Canada, we highly recommend checking out eTech Parts as we've had lots of good experiences with them and know their customer service is out of this world. Take care not to pull the entire screen off as the top of the screen is still attached by several cables. This method gives you enough clearance to stick your spudger tool underneath and release the screen.
I use the iSesamo opening tool for battery removal because it's pliable and that means it's more delicate. You can also pry up the round connector cable which is found a little further down on the logic board and is pictured below. Just take care not to rip any cables or wires that may still be hanging on by bits of glue and adhesive. Take care to pay attention to the orientation of the contact point so you know you're putting it on correctly.
For instance, the mic has a gasket over it that you'll need to pull off of the old dock connector and place on the new one.
Since it's in the center, it makes for a nice way to assure everything is lined up perfectly. Again, be very mindful of the logic board and be sure not to nick it or break it while sliding the cable and loud speaker corner underneath it.
Combine that with the release of iOS 7 a few days ago, and it’s been quite a busy week for Apple.
Bit Rebels is excited to be the first to release this video, which shows a complete teardown of the iPhone 5C bolt by bolt. Since the 5C is $100 cheaper than the 5S, and yet it comes with the same storage sizes and most of the same features, it definitely seems like a good deal.

DIY iPhone 5 camera repair is the quickest way to get your phone working again (note that if your iPhone is still under warranty, DIY repair will likely void it).
If this tactic doesn’t cleanup the connection, you must try using a can of compressed air to remove the buildup of mud particles.
If you're experiencing any of these symptoms and aren't quite ready to fork over the cash for a new iPhone just yet, we can walk you through how to repair your iPhone on your own.
As a side note, you can only see two of the cables (as marked in the photo below) as the third is underneath. I recommend this method if your hands aren't as steady or you're afraid you may pull too hard and damage a cable. You may use the flat end of a spudger tool if you'd like but I've found them to break off rather easily. Use your spudger tool to separate the speaker from the dock at the point shown in the photo below. If they have gotten shuffled about, carefully place them back around the four screw threads before continuing. Go ahead and use your #000 Phillips screwdriver to replace three of the screws that hold the Lightning dock in place .
Instead be sure that everything is lined up correctly and re-evaluate your positioning before moving on. If you aren’t quite brave enough to take your own phone apart like this, you can always pick up an empty Cellhelmet box and ship your phone to them for repair.
Follow along for step by step instructions on replacing the Lightning dock in your iPhone 5! Now slowly move your tool around the left side of the battery and gently pry upwards a little at a time. Don't replace the bottom right screw just yet as you'll need to secure the bracket on the dock underneath it once you've laid down the rest of the dock.
Make sure everything is lined up properly and that the clips in the top are aligned properly. You might also try backing up your data, resetting your phone to factory settings, then restoring it with iTunes. In the meantime, get a cup of tea and get ready to geek out as you watch this just released video showing the guts of your new iPhone 5C.
Go to “Settings > General > Restrictions” and verify that the “allow camera” setting is on.
If software isn't causing the issue and your lens is scratch-free as well as free of debris, your camera hardware could be defective. If the camera is unrestricted and your iPhone 5 camera still doesn't work, proceed to the next step. If you don't have the tech savvy to successfully complete the job, you can hire a repair service or, alternatively, consider selling your used iPhone 5 and using the proceeds toward the purchase of a new iPhone.
