Alternative medicine schools orlando, canine cancer holistic treatment - Review

Author: admin
In order to stay at the forefront of integrative medicine and be able to treat and diagnose patients with the latest that evidence-based medicine has to offer, Dr. Ruiz-Paedae was accepted at Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) where she obtained a BS, Masters and became a DOM (Doctor of Oriental Medicine). Tania Velez is an American Board certified Family Medicine Physician located in Orlando, FL.
The training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) included Tuina, Herbology, Homeopathic Injectables, Food Therapy, Counseling, Biofeedback, and many other modalities. She believes the practice of medicine should be more than just the treatment of disease and rather the treatment and support of the whole person. Craven graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2004 and the Medical University of South Carolina Pediatric Residency in 2007.

After completing her undergraduate degree at University of Central Florida, she completed her medical education at University of South Florida College of Medicine.
Most medical schools do not focus on nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes, naturopathic medicine, mind-body practices or relaxation.
The only way for her to be able to achieve her goal of helping others was to go back to school and get a doctorate degree that would allow her to diagnose and treat patients with no drugs. When she graduated in 2011, she was one of less than 100 fellowship-trained Integrative Medicine Pediatricians in the country, making her a true pioneer in the field.
She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Orlando, FL. Craven has instilled her whole body wellness approach passionately and successfully into the lives of families in the Greater Orlando area.

Velez is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Her focus includes nutrition, mental health balance, mind-body awareness, vitamin and herbal supplement use, Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, bio-functional medicine, breathing, optimal use of the physical body, mindfulness techniques, homeopathy, environmental toxin avoidance, and more. Integrative Medicine incorporates both conventional medicine and evidenced based alternative therapies to help prevent and treat disease. During medical school and residency she led and participated in several medical service projects.
