I am
not qualified to give medical advice. If you choose to use this application it
is entirely your decision.
Testing
was done with the Palm Emulator and Simulator and on a Palm Zire 21(tm). The
program should be compatible with most recent versions of the Palm OS(R) but
this is not thoroughly tested.
The
program consists of a single file called SCT.prc. Use HotSync(R) to install the
application.
The
first screen the application will show is the set up screen.

Use this opportunity to enter some goals
for yourself or ignore the screen by hitting OK. It is possible to come back
later (via the Main Form) if you don’t want to set any goals.
Use the
Food DB screens to enter the calorie and serving information of foods you eat.

This
is entirely optional but can be useful in speeding up entry later. (Calories
listed are sourced from the USDA Nutrient Database SR19).
Use
the Exercise DB screens to store the approximate calories burned per minute of
your favourite exercises. Again this is optional.
Further
foods or exercises can be added later by returning to these screens.
The day
view screen contains shows a summary of a day’s calorie intake and
expenditure.

Tap the ‘Food & Drink’
label to enter consumption.

You
might like to set up some meal categories.

Once
food is entered a summary is show on the Day view.

Tapping
the word Snacks expands the list.

Tap
the word apple if you would like to edit the entry.
Tap
the Exercise label to enter information about any exercise.

Use the
lookup buttons to find foods or exercises.
To
move between screens use the Goto Menu.
