We’ll help you find a pathWe’ll help you find a path Looking for a way to change your life? My name is Leo Babauta, creator of Zen Habits, and I’ve changed my entire life, gradually, focusing on one habit at a time. Live webinarsEvery month, Leo holds a live video webinar on the current habit, giving a talk and answering member questions.Members changing their livesPeople from all over the world have made incredible changes through Sea Change. In just a few years, I have been able to develop the habits of meditation, self compassion, exercise, eating well, yoga, music practice, and most importantly, mindfulness. Sea Change gave me the concrete structure and support necessary to build new habits that I've been struggling with for years.
An incredible experience, Sea Change has guided me through many challenges and continues to do so. The Sea Change Program gave me each and every day a clear reminder of what I know but tend to forget in order to keep my life simple and uncluttered, to focus on what really matters, to feel empowered.
Sea Change doesn't take much time but provides little encouragements and simple exercises that only take a couple of minutes during the day. Fitting this into the theme of simplicity, it is much simpler to accept than to try and control what is going on.
If a man is crossing a river and an empty boat collides with his own skiff, even though he be a bad-tempered man he will not become very angry.
In applying this to today, say for example, you are driving to work on the freeway, or on your bike, or walking, or whatever. Week 16 – Zen of Work (Day 27) – this change came about because of an online class I took this month, Zen of Work. This entry was posted in Reflection and tagged acceptance, awareness, Gratitude, inspiration, reflection by Susi Masarweh. If I did not read the empty boat story a couple of days ago, I would not get the reference.
As for the rest of your comment – are you saying that in general people don’t have any idea of what we go through to strive for and maintain this way of being, or are you saying this directly to me because I am not communicating it and so no one has any idea?
I am someone who wants to live life differently and surround myself with like-minded people. One of my favorite quotes by Gandhi, "We must be the change we wish to see in the world," sums up my philosophy.

If anything about me resonates with you, feel free to connect with me to share your own story.
Sea Change is a gradual transformation, as with the changes that come over time from the rising, falling and movement of oceans. For me, the sea change began to pull me into the current earlier this year when I started writing here. This new resource was an online course with a purpose to help develop and strengthen connecting skills, called How to Connect With Anyone, created by Scott Dinsmore.
I used to avoid social gatherings like the plague, because I felt I didn’t fit in, didn’t have anything unique to offer, or anything meaningful to say. I used to think that I may have somehow missed a fork in the path, or a turn somewhere along the way and that my life decisions were keeping me from living my legend. And now I have a tribe of like-minded, passionate people, living life on purpose, finding and living their own legend. Every day now, amazing experiences are becoming the norm, rather than the exception because now, I say YES, and SHOW UP. The tide of this energy will flow into and strengthen the current of Sea Change energy that is happening all over the world. Sea Change is designed to overcome your habit obstacles, create simple steps for change, and get you moving in the right direction. This method works, not only for me but for thousands of other people who have made the choice to focus on their habits, and to change their entire lives.
You’ll set up a very easy habit to practice during the course, something you can do in just a few minutes a day. There will be one live video webinar with Leo in the middle area of each month, on the current course topic.
Each day we post a short challenge for you to expand your practice that you’re working on in the course. A community of like-minded friends to build relationships, form accountability teams, and create lasting change.
His open, gentle and non-judgmental approach will soothe and encourage you into habit changing. It synthesizes all the great work that's being done on habits and productivity right now in a simple, accessible program.

It’s helped me instill habits and adapt them to changing circumstances so that I could have in place the behaviors I need for success no matter what the circumstances.
Your card will be charged $29 after 7 days, and then every month after that, unless you cancel. You go through a lot of time and effort to simplify, but noone around you can even have a guess on how sophisticated thought processes and daily routines you have incorporated in your life to maintain it. The site is a journey through a year of change and moving past the desire to change into the desire to be.
I live in Davis, California with my wife and six kids, where I eat vegan food, write, run, and read.
Supreme Court Justice Roberts recently, in talking about the sea change that is occurring globally and in our own country as more and more people choose love over hatred. I stopped defaulting to people that just happened to be in the same space as me at the time and started reaching out to those same people and others in a new way. I felt the energy emanating in the room – it was like a current of vibration flowing through everyone. When I joined in January 2014 I was at a very low ebb: my self esteem was down and my procrastination up. That the person standing right next to you, whereever you are, can be the next friend you just haven’t met yet. 3000 like-minded people, passionate about living and making a difference in the world transcending space and time by converging energy in the same place. Since I started Sea Change, I've made many changes : I now run regularly (up to a half-marathon), meditate daily, eat vegan, and write more (current habit change). Since beginning the programme I have been meditating, waking up two hours earlier to go for a walk, doing regular Qi Gong – all these have made me a calmer healthier person but what turned my life around was learning compassion for myself and others.
And the forum has provided a place to share the journey with people who have the same goals. But we have a library of old habit modules that have articles and videos that you can follow if you don't like the current course.
