People often confuse self-confidence, self-esteem and self-love and interchangeably use these qualities.
Before I discuss the top 7, I would like to clearly distinguish the difference between these three qualities.
Self-confidence is about being confident in yourself – how you feel or view your abilities, your power and your own personal judgement. Going on a new adventure, exploring the world and traveling offers huge potential to enhance self-confidence. When you find yourself lacking in self-confidence, try to get out of your comfort zone and explore. As you depart the boundary of your family surroundings to travel the world, you will immediately get exposed to “the unknown”. Building anything from scratch whether it is business, a house or creative crafts won’t happen overnight. Sometimes when we are so down on ourselves and the extreme lack of self-esteem has a big hit, we may end up feeling like we are incapable, worthless and feeling like we have nothing to contribute to the world or others.
Human beings tend to stumble and fall along the way even when achieving something that is beneficial and useful outside their comfort zone or within their usual daily routine.
Therefore being ambitious and staying ambitious no matter what comes along, be it hard bumps or even failures, will eventually lead to success. If you are an expert in your field or industry, you have probably learned a lot of jargon--and you've earned the right to use it. Abbreviations (including acronyms) without definitions or spelled-out versions: CRM, OD, EOM, OFA, ERISA, JCAHO.
To recognize whether a term you want to use is jargon, ask yourself: Do our potential customers or clients, new employees and interns, and senior leaders use this term? Unless you define or explain it, do not use jargon in any communications outside your expert peer groups: reports to senior management, recommendations to the board, letters to customers, web sites, marketing packets, annual reports, newsletters, grant proposals, user manuals, etc. When writing to a mixed audience, avoid jargon in the subject line, title, or first sentences. Why it’s bad: Telling customers or other individuals that you disagree with your manager diminishes your manager—and the entire company. Why it’s bad: Similar to Number 1, criticizing a department like legal, information technology, or human resources belittles the company. Why it’s bad: Although admitting inexperience can inspire empathy, it can also diminish your readers’ regard for your company and you. Why it’s bad: Details about your internal processes, especially when processes plod along not focused on customers’ or others’ needs, do nothing to satisfy readers.
Why it’s bad: Personal information can embarrass readers and make them feel awkward about how and whether they should respond.
Why it’s bad: Pointing out someone’s typo, inconsequential error, or minor imperfection wins no friends. Why it’s bad: It’s impossible to ask such a question in email without endangering a relationship. Why it’s bad—sometimes: The statement is bad if you will struggle to meet that deadline and may even miss it.
Instead, ask about the reader’s degree of urgency: “I will be happy to get this information. Can you think of times when you have not read an email closely and ended up writing a nonsensical or an unnecessary reply?

Use short chunks of text, including bullet points, rather than relying on lengthy, well-developed paragraphs. That means they will not be able to focus on what they do need, and you won’t get the results you seek. Well, from my experience I would rather be alone but it certainly took huge courage and long enough to come to term with being alone and away from my toxic so called friends.

This is probably one of the toughest things or thoughts to overcome because comparing ourselves to others is sometimes uncontrollable. You may believe that you do not have any good things happening in your life, but every single person can find something good in his or her life, even if it is something very small. Readers are wondering not only Why are the doors locked? They want to know Can I shop today? Yet not providing more information caused readers to assume that they could not shop on a busy Saturday when they were ready to spend money. Jargon is any specialist's language that non-specialists do not use and probably do not understand.
When you must write the same message to specialists and non-specialists (including people in your field who are not yet experts), use jargon. The information might make readers wonder whether you are able to give their needs sufficient attention. Use a thesaurus to replace comprehensible with clear, prerogative with choice, and injudiciously with carelessly. For example, newsletter articles, blog posts, and most presentations require a style that connects more personally with the audience.


For example, when you are denying a claim, writing to eminent scholars, or producing executive meeting notes, you need a more formal tone. But it can fail in business writing, which usually requires efficient, concise communication.
Similarly, the style you use in an email to a friend won’t work well in your project status report to senior executives.
I know about these behaviors because employees share their frustrations in business writing classes. Do you issue ultimatums such as “I won’t read an email if it’s more than three sentences!” and “No memos more than a page long!”?
Understand that an email may need 10 sentences, and the content of a memo may require a second page.
Not approving an employee’s document until you fine-tune “cloudy” to “overcast,” or “expensive” to “costly,” wastes your time and exasperates your employee.
Spell them out the first time you use them.” Yes, this approach takes time, but not a lifetime of rewriting.
When you make changes to employees’ writing but don’t explain why your way is more effective, you leave employees without the keys to their success.
A lot of the time low self-esteem stems not from the events that are taking place around you, but from your interpretation of those events. Whenever you have a negative feeling about yourself, question the thoughts that led to those negative feelings; look for alternative thoughts by using the questions above. For example, it could be the time that you took some of your Christmas money and you used it to buy a gift for a child who otherwise wouldn’t have received any presents. In this blog post, I’d like to share with you the different ways to build confidence, self-esteem and unconditional self-love.
For example you are likely to have healthy self-esteem if you grew up in a loving environment, with abundant encouragement, instructions on life skills, appropriate freedom and a supportive family. Traveling can build self-confidence because it forces you to step out of your comfort zone to discover new places, learn new cultures, languages and possibly new skills that may come along the way. The overall outcomes will be worth it because you’ve proved to yourself that you were able to build something from scratch and accomplish your goals.
When exploring yourself, it’s not just knowing what your strengths and weaknesses are but also about making an effort to try out something new such as new career, new lifestyle and new friendships. We know that sometimes it’s hard to face the truth but it will only make us stronger emotionally and mentally as a person.
Ambition is a very powerful trait and can also mean having or showing a very strong desire and determination to succeed in life. We can choose to be ambitious in order to have a better life and become successful in whatever is important to us.
I am not going to pretend here but that was definitely a horrible experience, as it completely ruined my self-esteem and self-confidence.
We can’t really judge these people who love to bring other people down or ruin other people’s lives because there are obviously various reasons as to why they are the way they are. When something happens that makes you feel bad about yourself, challenge your interpretation of what just took place. For example, it could be a time when you got sick as a child and your mother took care of you all day. It might have been the time that you got the best grade on a test when you were in school, or the time you got a promotion at work. Remind yourself and your daughter that each day is different and our bodies are always changing. While on the other hand, if your family mistreated you, overly criticised you, embarrassed or humiliated you, never supported you or paid attention to you then you will most likely develop a very low sense of self-esteem. Gradually, you will realise that you have gained the power of self-confidence that comes from meeting new people and acquiring new insights on life. Even changing your sense of fashion can slightly lift up your self-esteem, however appearance should not be the only way to improve self-esteem as there are more ways to do that.
You may be ambitious to succeed in your new business venture, finishing university in order to have a good career or simply to be the best parent possible to your children. I was dragged down and intoxicated with horrible beliefs that only cause my life to fall into depression. I guess people who grew up in an abusive family, (drugs and alcohol) certainly have huge contributing factors that lead to them being toxic. If other people that are less fortunate than us have become successful it means that we can also do it. Even a symbol as simple as $$$ must be defined for people who are not your regular readers or specialists in your area.
If you are a supervisor who is coaching an employee on eliminating errors, that’s a different story. Becoming wiser will enable us to easily manipulate life in a positive way and it will make us do better in our next ventures and thus in return enhance our self-esteem and self-confidence. People who had a very difficult upbringing tend to have very low self-esteem as a result they tend to possess various traits and characteristics such as envy, jealousy, abusiveness, insecurity, and being manipulative. She is also more likely to engage in harmful activities with friends, such as experimentation with drugs and alcohol. No matter how much we try to avoid, it just won’t permanently go away but it seems to reappear especially when we find ourselves feeling down and low. Leaving these people behind in your life’s journey is not easy and simple and it certainly takes time and effort.
To be honest, I’ve found myself comparing myself to other people who have better success and wealth than me only when I feel at my lowest and when my brain has been bombarded with the most self-depreciating thoughts.
It will eventually happen and soon after you will become a new person and you will probably even be the person again before you were intoxicated with bad habits and beliefs. If you want people to find you on the Internet, use both jargon and general terms so that both experts and non-experts can find you. You only have to control it if you want to communicate with potential clients and customers, investors, sponsors, citizens, senior executives, and others who can help you achieve your goals.
