However, I was at my gym one day (AKA boot camp), and, in the middle of our last sprint, our trainer yelled “Great job! Since I just talked about cheat meals, I figured it was probably the best timing to talk about rewards.


But food is awesome and enjoying cake on my birthday or ice cream on a date is way more fun than carrots or a chicken breast.
Because sweet potato crunch, fried chicken, or biscuits sure do taste better than feeling skinny. We are of the mindset that we need to reward ourselves in order to make everyday life more fulfilling and, well, motivating! But sometimes, I just can’t help but to think, “Wait, what?” That’s what happens when I see a quote that is supposed to be motivating, but doesn’t come off that way to me at all. So does that mean every “fit girl” should be walking around naked to prove “I’m a fit girl” and every girl who is “skinny” shouldn’t feel comfortable naked?
I don’t care if you are naturally skinny, naturally red headed, naturally good at math, every woman is fighting for something in life.


There are so many other ways we can reward ourselves while STILL maintaining that healthy, balanced, happy lifestyle.
I don’t remember the last time I puked or fainted in a workout and I think I’m in pretty good shape. So here are 6 ways that you can do just that-enjoy, and congratulations…for whatever it may be! Is it more satisfying than getting your toddlers to bed at a decent hour or passing your RD exam?
