Peace of mind is essential to lead a good, happy and peaceful life.  It is in fact a dream for most people to be able to forget their troubles, worries and problems and enjoy a few moments of happiness in mind and to be free from obsessing thoughts. Peace of mind can be described as the state of inner calmness, a feeling of tranquility mixed with a sense of freedom. Well it may be difficult to believe, but it is definitely possible to make peace of mind a habit and to enjoy it always at all circumstances of life.
By staying away from negative conversations and from negative people, we can bring about a greater peace of mind.
Nurturing ill feelings towards another person can actually hurt our mind and be the main cause of sleepless nights. Be happy in what ever you have and try to improve your life with what ever is available with you. Listening good music, being with kids, seeing a good movie, going out in nature can change your mood and may help in getting peace.
Over and above this regular practice of meditation and yoga (most importantly Pranayam) will result in long lasting mental peace and happiness.

When you are deeply asleep, you are not aware of your thoughts, and therefore, you are in a state of inner peace.
Such activities, and similar ones, take away the mind from its usual thoughts and worries, replacing them with an experience of inner peace.
The question is, how to bring more peace of mind into our life, and more importantly, how to experience it in times of difficulties and ordeals.

The first and foremost reason is that most of the people engaged in this profession are not doing what they are supposed to do. So to start with one should focus upon this source of energy, and one will immediately feel being a part of something huge.  The first impact will be that our miseries, sorrows, worries and delusions start to fade away.
We have removed the boundaries at global level, but increased the inter-racial, inter-national and inter-religion and inter-class differences more than ever.
As a drop of ink will change the color of a glass of water, yet its impact will be reduced in a bucket full of water and will be negligible in a pool.
Well, but what we are discussing here is not achieving temporary peace of mind, but peace of mind for a longer period of time.
The management or for that matter the line managers have wrongly obviated the need of HR and that is rather unfortunate. So to increase the reservoir of energy and restore the peace of mind, meditation is the best way to direct ones brain towards something greater than this tiny and illusionary self. Also, it is more important to achieve a greater peace of mind in times of troubles so that we may be able to pass through the times of trouble with more ease. Given the ability to sell one’s idea and concept, and with certain amount of freedom to practice the deliverables, HR could be a profession to enjoy.
Once we start focusing upon oneness of the universe and consider ourselves part of this oneness, this oneness knows what to do with us, as it is intelligent enough. The immediate and visible proof of this intelligence is the smoothest running of this gigantic universe. Can we get it by being selfish or self oriented and ignoring the fact that others deserve it as well? So start mediation and get instant peace of mind, and make it a permanent mindset by meditating on a regular basis. So if we are being robbed through the promotion of ‘Materialism’ in the name of ‘Consumerism’, shouldn’t we make up our minds that we’ll not be deceived again? Materialism is addictive in its nature; we become alcoholic even shopaholic at the cost of inner peace.
