If you’re anything like me, coffee becomes your bestie, you work full time, have a career you’re pursing, blueprinting  your own business, maintaining personal relationships with your man, family and friends, being active within in the church, volunteering in the community, all while wishfully wishing you could just sip wine on a beach and relax.
Working out a routine may be challenging but I find it’s the best way to ensure you get everything done in a timely fashion.  Now, I know most people hate routines and like to live the spontaneous lifestyle.
Put Your Job First- I know you are working on your “dream career” or developing your own company, but be mindful as to what is currently paying the bills. Create a “to do” list- Grab a pen and pad and every night write out everything that needs to be done for the next day. Make Use of Your Weekends- Saturday and Sunday are your 48hrs to get as much accomplished as possible.  Whether its housework, spending time with family and friends, or actually working on your goals, use these 2 days wisely and get the most use out them. Invest in yourself- Eventually, to successful launch a lucrative business you will have to devote all of your time and energy into it.
If you are currently working full time and working on your professional goals, let us know how you balance out your days. So I wanted to address the various elements of life that can require balancing and offer some suggestions to find the mix that works best for you. To me, it means that you have a handle on the various elements in your life and don’t feel that your heart or mind are being pulled too hard in any direction.
The elements in life that require the most balancing can be divided into two categories: internal and external. For example, you may find that you focus on external things–like work, relationships, and activities, and that you pay very little attention to what is going on inside your heart and mind. On the other hand, you may find that you spend so much time being self reflective that you sometimes miss out on the experience of living.
Other people may be fairly balanced between the two but might want to balance out some specific elements within each category; so I created this little outline to help us better understand the beneficial components on both ends of each spectrum.
Notice if you’re leaning more toward an internal or external focus, or if there are areas within each category that you would like to be more balanced. Make a list of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that you will need to do to achieve each of these goals . Is there a person or a tactic you can use to keep yourself supported, motivated, and focused in those hard times?


Just like accomplishing any goal in life, it takes time and effort to overcome your habitual patterns and create new ones.

Working a full time job is not going to allow you to productively do such, it just isn’t possible, we aren’t robots. If you stay on track with this detailed and intentional process for three whole months, then there is a good chance you will create new habits to enjoy a more balanced life going forward. Planning and preparing healthy meals is often the first thing to be neglected when other aspects of life overwhelm a busy schedule. Eating right, combined with regular exercise, can help you maintain a healthy body weight lower your lifetime risk of breast cancer.
For example, will you hire a bald man for sales or marketing position for a hair care product? A lot happens in 24hours and yet in still the job is never done.  As I am evolving more in my different endeavors, I am finding time is the hardest concept to handle. For example, see if you can ask a friend to pick up your dry cleaning, that will save you time from driving there and picking it up. In this case, you have to invest in yourself and budget accordingly.  If you know in a few years you will have to quit your day job, start saving now so the transition won’t be so drastic. Find someone who can help you challenge your inner demons, and celebrate your little accomplishments. It’s all too tempting and convenient to grab a burger and fries when you are starving and on the go. 24 hours just does not seem to be enough but it’s all we have so we have no choice but to make it work. Investing in yourself will be the biggest investment you make in your life, don’t make a risky decision make a smart decision.
