My mission is to be a catalyst, a channel guiding you towards your pursuit of a life of intention, passion and purpose. With a background in organizational leadership, I am an experienced manager, trainer, team builder, and mentor. As a motivated senior leader with over 25 years of experience, I spearheaded successful ventures throughout the city. In my professional experience, I have mastered organizational skills in planning and goal implementation.
Within the last decade my focus has shifted and expanded from large organizations, to small groups and now to embracing the individual. This has lead me to study spiritual direction and train as a life coach, acquiring specific skills to assist people to move forward on their personal journey of transformation. As a life coach I offer you a trusting relationship, a safe place to be yourself, a listening ear, a truthful perspective. I will challenge you to move forward towards the magnitude and greatness you possess, to live out your purpose, boldly and courageously. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, my hometown and am a mom who loves the dynamics of raising three teenagers.
I am professionally certified in the co-acttive model of Coaching through the  Coaches  Training Institute in San Rafael, California. As the credits rolled, I sat their motionless slumped in my seat.  I felt I had witnessed the death of a friend, a colleague, a loved one, of me?
Come join this 16-week small group, where we explore how to write and tell stories from our lives with honesty and curiosity in order to live with more freedom and joy.

Last summer I found myself reading out loud every morning to my girlfriend, at the poolside of our Radium resort, while our teenage children slept in.  The book that caught our attention and called us to this early morning ritual was, “The Anatomy of Peace,” by the Arbinger Institute. I was reminded of the book yesterday, and its underlying message.  There I was in the office of a professional being belittled by this giant of a man with BIG booming voice. Why do people abuse power and use manipulative tactics?  Why do we justify our behavior under the guise of needing to be right. In my pursuit of finding a new place for my three teenage children, and myself I have had to ponder the big question.  What makes a house a home?
Also, what do I need to make whatever place I am looking for, a home for me and the kids?  What am I looking for?  What do we need?  What do we want? As a family of four it is difficult to find something out there that is in my price range and suitable to serve he needs of middle aged me; who loves bright open space, a modern kitchen, and a small yard (plus a soaker tub would definitely be an asset). After living in the same home for 15 years, what would I take with me?  What do I need?  What can I live without?  Soon the house was buzzing with the energy of purging! The simplest things in life such as a smile, a hug, a kiss, holding hands are priceless treasures. Here are just a few examples of recent designs from the Keep Calm-o-Matic creative community. I coordinated large numbers of volunteers in a variety of programs within several non-profit organizations. I am drawn to people who are curious about themselves, who reflect and examine who they are and who they are becoming. I felt life slowly seep out of my body as his presence filled the entire room.  I felt my spirit leaving me as he towered over me stating, ‘I told you…”   I called forth every ounce of courage I had not to feel small, but to be acknowledged as a person with a voice and with dignity.

Hopefully in time, this will allow me to free up time for what is truly important and what I value.

I am deeply moved by people’s strength and courage to push through obstacles and overcome difficulties. I  love the challenge of a good read that feeds my hunger for learning and personal growth. The group uses the books To Be Told by Dan Allender and To Be Told Workbook by Dan Allender and Lisa Fann to guide us as we create community by writing and sharing our stories with each other.
This is a space where numerous teenage guys can rumble and tumble, hang, crash for the night, without being interrupted or bothered.  This is also the place for the TV, and gaming station.
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself. Hosting dinner parties in my home with good food, wine, engaging conversation, along with a good dose of laughter enriches my life.
I have recently separated with my wife and that has caused me to be very bitter and unhappy at times.
