During January 2014, Change4Life is aiming to reduce UK obesity levels through its Smart Swaps campaign, by supporting changes in our behaviour and encouraging a long-term reduction in calorie consumption. The campaign hopes to encourage as many people as possible to pledge to make at least one small swap to what they eat and drink for one month.
People will be able to sign up via the Change4Life website and pledge to make one or more easy swaps in their diet. Eating a balanced diet is one way of helping yourself to stay healthy and feel good about yourself.
There are lots of healthy foods from which to choose and you should include a variety in your diet, but most of all you should enjoy your food.
Change 4 Life is a great new incentive by the NHS  which aims to get us healthier by targeting the bad habits we have developed. Move More- That aims to get us to be more active and there are great ways to do this on their website.
Choose less booze- This is my favorite incentive because it is tackling a issue which does not only ruin one’s health but also has a huge impact on family life.


Local activities- They also provide you with locations of activities in your local area, so now you have no excuse!! So to basically all Change4Life is trying to do is make us more aware of our lifestyle and the damage it causes to our health and by implementing their guidelines it should lead to healthier you. Change4Life is an England and Wales campaign, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use the advice here to start making changes, even if you don’t live in England or Wales.
Giving you simple steps to healthier eating and being active, this website offers practical advice for making small but important changes.
