The course curriculum covers an array of topics like cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillation, the EMS system, and basic first aid skills like wound care and medication administration. This is a basic one day course that is popular amongst fitness workers, community centre employees, adult teachers and restaurant employees.
This is the only basic first aid course provided that meets WorkSafe BC requirements for first aid training. Requirements for passing a program include: 100% attendance, 75% or better in the written exam, and good demonstration of first aid skills.

Standard First Aid covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR, AED, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth ones, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. Our staff of safety experts will keep your company WorkSafeBC compliant by teaching up-to-date safety fundamentals with hands-on practical training. Course fee includes taxes, workplace approved certification fee’s and first aid and CPR manual.
If you do not complete the course the first time you can re-take the course at no extra cost. This training provider has a number of training facilities throughout the Lower Mainland with offices located in Surrey Newton and Whalley business districts. This procedure stimulates the body’s immune system to try and fight off cancer cells.
This course is a stand alone CPR course in which candidates will receive no first aid certification. If you do not complete the course the first time you are eligible to retake the course at no extra cost. This training providers offers a wide range of services including consulting for workplace emergency response plans and training, first aid supplies and kits, and WorkSafe BC approved training. The program is usually taken by people who need first aid and CPR training for work or people who just want to be able to manage minor home emergencies. Before the certification expires, the student has to take a recertification program to revalidate the card for another three years.
E-mails and the online application form are the most commonly used methods, with final payments and signatures made in person before training starts.

This course includes training and certification in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED’s). If your SFA certificate has expired you will need to register for the full course at the regular price. This child care course is very similar in course content to that of standard first aid courses. Candidates have the option of paying by credit card, debit card or PayPal through our secure registration system. Stand-alone CPR training is also available for participants requiring not first aid certification. This program is able to meet provincial and territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR . Participants enrolled in these courses will receive certification that is valid for three years and obtain training in the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
