A group of East Cheshire NHS Trust colleagues are taking on a half marathon this month to raise funds for the trust’s charity, ECHO.
Staff members including Dr Marta Babores, Dr Sriram Iyer, Dr Joanna Gallagher and Dr Micayla Telfer are running the Rock n’ Roll Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday, May 29th. Dr Iyer and other members of the group are planning to raise funds for several new items of respiratory equipment for Macclesfield Hospital’s Ward 4 to improve patients’ experiences of the ward’s lung services. Fiona Doorey, ECHO’s fundraising manager, said: “It’s great that our dedicated doctors, consultants, nurses and non-clinical colleagues are supporting our patients outside of working hours by raising funds for new equipment. Deb was wonderful, we followed her advice and the property sold during our first open inspection.
I can highly recommend Deb Sorensen and Ray White Port Noarlunga in regards to selling a property.
Dear Deb Sorensen, Thank you so much for your assistance in our recent purchase of a house in Port Noarlunga South. After having our house on the market for 12 weeks with another agent we were very disillusioned. Deb is highly professional, follows through on everything she says she is going to do and has outstanding communication. Just wanted to reflect on the service we received from Deb Sorensen during our acquisition of 38 Chapman Road.
Brenda & I personally wish to Thank You for all the hard work you have put into the last 8 months or so to sell our commercial property in Hackham.
I found Deb to be really, really helpful especially since this was my first home I have purchased. On behalf of my sister and myself I would like to thank Deb for her professional approach, her research showing us what other properties had sold for in the area which in turn gave us a suitable price range and the home was sold within a couple of weeks. Find out how much your property could sell for in the current market – free and without obligation.
TONI DOCHERTY has raised A?5000 for cancer charities so far and was persuaded to hold off on her haircut until after her sister's wedding.
CARING Toni Docherty was determined to have her head shaved for charity but there was just one problem a€“ she was about to be bridesmaid at her sistera€™s wedding.
The third-year pupil was ordered by her mum Elaine to hold off until this year so, on Wednesday, 200 people at her Clydebank school, St Peter The Apostle, watched as her hairdresser shaved off her long hair.

Toni did it to raise money for cancer charities after her gran Helen Tamburrini was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2010, just months after her other gran Margaret Docherty died from lung cancer. The 14-year-old has so far raised £5000 for the Beatson Cancer Charity and St Margareta€™s Hospice. A before and after picture of Toni has had 83,000 likes on Facebook and been shared by more than 5000 people on the site. Toni said: a€?Ita€™s not something you have to be brave about, you just have to not be attached to your hair. Emily Findlay, 18, has been fighting cancer for four years, but each setback makes her more determined to enjoy life.
Former firefighter Craig Watson, 44, has started raising funds to buy a 4x4 vehicle to convert into an ambulance for the people of Ulan Bator. The company was formed as a result of the merger between The Cancer Research Campaign and Imperial Cancer Research Fund. We would gladly recommend Deb to any prospective clients and if the need arises we most certainly will use her again.
We always had a prompt call back for feedback after opens, always kept a positive outlook for the sale of our house - excellent outcome. Deb Sorensen was always so helpful and made us feel very comfortable as she was always friendly & so easy to talk to and very approachable to ask any questions. Your work ethic, commitment to client, skills and energy combined to achieve an excellent price for my property.
We have been throughout quite a few property purchases by now, both as vendors and as sellers. She was down to earth, easy to deal with, great communication, was happy to answer any questions and did what she could to make the process go as smoothly as possible. It really amazed us in that time you had a number of potential buyers looking at the property by using different types of marketing, whereas the previous agent that had our property listed for over 18 months and did not have one prospective purchaser or any lead that was ever followed up. Alot of what was involved was pretty foreign to me, but Deb helped me to understand what was involved, plus what other things I needed to do in regards to the purchase. Their chain of charity shops sell second hand items such as clothes, books and records to raise money.
Thank You for all your wonderful expert help (emotional & physical) keeping us 'sane' - we couldn't have got there without you.

My property sold in a very quick fashion and Deb did not settle for a low price to achieve this. Even if we thought that this purchase would be quite complicated, since we were still living overseas at the time that we made the offer, our purchase turned out to be one of the smoothest we've experienced. I would be confident and happy to recommend her to anyone who is looking into taking the next step into either selling or purchasing a property. The refreshing thing was she didn't badger us like some agents do, she gave us options without pushing them.
She was only too happy to answer copious amounts of questions from me, even though she is a busy lady, so thanks for all your help Deb.
Deb made herself available, had great communication throughout the process, acted in a timely manner and made everything so easy !
We thank you a lot for all the help you have provided, and all the queries you have helped us clarify.
She was totally committed to the sale of our house and worked tirelessly to make sure we were kept fully informed throughout the whole process.
Also in that time you were also able to find us 3 new tenants for our other commercial property.
When I became anxious about certain aspects you were there to problem solve and, as you anticipated, all went well. We achieved a sale at our first open with Deb and she continued to work with 3 couples to get us the best possible price. Again Deb, Thank You very much for your tireless efforts, we would not hesitate in recommending you and Ray White Port Noarlunga to anyone wishing to sell or rent their properties. I would have no hesitation in recommending Deb Sorensen to anyone who needs property related services, she is an absolute professional.
