Setting rsync Options

DropSync uses a helper program called rsync as an underlying syncing engine. Any of the options supported by rsync are also supported by DropSync.

To add a new rsync option;

1. Choose Synced Places > Configure to open the Configure Synced Places Window
2. Select the Synced Place for which you want to set rsync options
3. In the right hand side of the window select the advanced tab
   
4. Click the + icon at the bottom of the table of rsync options
   
5. Enter the option itself under the Option column
   

   The option text must represent the full text of a command-line option (see existing options for examples)

6. Enter a description for the option. This is optional
7. Click the checkbox in the left most column to enable the option
