A short cable is supposed to be better also for signal quality, from what I have read elsewhere. Also, with our heat and humidity here, this thing would definitely rust in no time outdoors. I like the fact that the antenna is so much higher, but is still sheltered from rain and lightning. And while I'm at it, I may also experiment with making an entire antenna out of cardboard and aluminum foil.
Yesterday I tried two different experiments, neither of which provided any detectable change in signal quality. I recommend using the extra two screws and washers if you are building one of these antennas for yourself. Last year Patrick Sherwin, a solar designer with experience living “off-the-grid,” started a KickStarter campaign to fund the GoSun solar over.
The GoSun is able to safety reach temperatures as high as 700°F by effectively retaining 90% of all sunlight that enters its reflectors. The effectiveness and portability of the GoSun also mean that it provides a viable option for clean cooking in developing countries. Published once per year in stunning coffee-table quality, Mountain Life Annual seeks to be a photo-driven national outdoor voice of record. October 9, 2011 by Darcy at 12:01 am Photography is nearly always a much easier beast when you can shoot outdoors.
Lamps and artificial lighting cast color shadows – tungsten, halogen, LED or fluorescent all create varying light temperatures. The more expensive, investment camera bodies have better sensors that allow you to shoot faster inside by pumping up ISO without introducing lots of noise.
Bathrooms can be surprisingly good places to shoot because tubs are often white and make great reflectors for fill light.
Bounce in fill light by using silver reflectors, cardboard wrapped in aluminum foil, or foam core. Wrap your on-camera flash loosely in a coffee filter bubble, secured with a rubber band for adding soft light instead of harsh flash. Post about your experiment on your blog or Flickr, invite your readers to play along, and come back and link up!
I may have missed this somewhere…but do you have any suggestions for gals like me whose fancy camera is a Nikon Coolpix?

I got so excited to try out the coffee filter idea, that I couldn’t wait til morning, I got my camera out now.
Do you mind if I quote a couple of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your site My blog is in the exact same area of interest as yours and my visitors would truly benefit from some of the information you provide here. Life with my 3 Boybarians is powered by WordPress, Genesis Theme Framework by StudioPress and lots of Italian coffee. This section is not intended as a full grow guide and assumes you have already read our other sections dealing with issues like lighting and ventilation.
If it’s large enough for your requirements, sturdy enough to hang a light in and you can make the relevant holes in it for ventilation then it will do the job. Spending a small amount of money can optimize this space – having light reflective material on a grow space’s walls maximizes the amount of light available for your plants, and one of the best materials for achieving this is Mylar but Mylar is not cheap. A few months and $203,000 later, the GoSun has emerged as one of the top solar ovens on the market. This powerful technology relies on the principles of parabolic reflection, evacuation (for its insulating value) and the Greenhouse effect, and an insulating vacuum between prevents the outside ambient temperature from transferring into the inner cooking zone, meaning that a hot meal can be prepared even in the dead of winter. Designed to be both mobile and durable, the GoSun weighs less than 3.5 lbs and can easily be packed in a backpack. And, through the GoSun Empowerment Program, the company has pledged that 1 in 6 ovens will go to a family in need in places like Chiapas, Mexico and Belle-Riviere, Haiti.
Small enough to bring on a camping trip but powerful enough to cook a hot meal even in cloudy conditions, the GoSun will appeal to anyone interested in minimizing their carbon footprint—and expanding their cooking options—while in the great outdoors. Most complaints about images that don’t turn out come from photographers learning how to shoot indoors. Since the built-in flashes cannot be dialed down like an external flash, adding a filter will diffuse the harsh light.
I am new to blogging and trying hard to improve my photos for the blog and for client before and after shots.
There is a bit of a learning curve to it, which is why some prefer Lightroom because it’s easier to learn. I typically get great results shooting indoors, but only after I have adjusted everything a million times. You’ve looked around the web and it feels like you need to spend hundreds or thousands to get up and running? It is possible to get a small grow box setup running without spending too much; there are areas where you can save money especially if you’re prepared to spend a little time making things rather than buying them at a premium.

This guide should help you identify the areas where you can apply those principles without breaking the bank. If you choose carefully you should be able to get five seeds delivered from a reputable source for under $50. There are a huge assortment of custom grow tents, grow boxes and the like available on the market and many are excellent, but you can grow marijuana in just about anything. With a little construction you could even join a couple of smaller wardrobes together to make a larger grow space, or if you’ve got construction materials leftover from a recent project then build something from scratch.
And, because of the insulating vacuum separating the cooking zone from the covering, it remains cool enough on the outside to pack up at a moment’s notice. I will tuck this idea into my back pocket and hopefully get it out before the end of the week. I follow Funk Junk & she mentioned you in one of her posts , that’s how I found you Wow! Bathrooms have always been a favorite, now I know why thanks again for another awesome article! I don’t allow copying and pasting of my articles and reprinting them, in part or in whole, anywhere else on the web.
There are also some areas where trying to save a little cash could lead to a substandard harvest that needlessly puts you off growing again.
Yes, not as free as the ones out of the last bag you bought but really it isn’t where you should save. GIMP is a free program that has some of the features Photoshop does if you want to try it out before purchasing anything.
If you don’t have anything suitable yourself ask around friends or on internet sites likes freecycle and you can often find something that will do the job for free.
Common metal foil is also a bad choice as it can create hot spots, and it does actually burn if ignited.
