To create the effect, we'll be using a Black & White image adjustment, first introduced in Photoshop CS3, which means you'll need Photoshop CS3 or higher to follow along.
For my image, I want to leave the four Easter eggs in color while converting everything else to black and white. Using the selection tool of your choice (Lasso Tool, Quick Selection Tool, Pen Tool, etc), draw a selection outline around the main subject of your photo.
We now have our main subject selected, but what we actually need is for everything except the main subject to be selected, which means we need to invert our selection. You may have to look closely to notice what happened since the initial selection outline will still be around your subject, but you should now see a second selection outline around the edges of your image. Photoshop adds the Black & White adjustment layer, and instantly, we have our selective color effect! As we can see in the mask's preview thumbnail, the mask is filled almost entirely with white except for the area directly above our main subject. At this point, you can either accept the Black & White adjustment layer's default conversion, or you can fine-tune the results and create your own custom black and white version of the image by dragging the various color sliders left or right to lighten or darken different areas based on their original colors. If you're using Photoshop CS3, click OK in the top right corner of the Black & White dialog box when you're done to close out of it.
Make sure you have the mask selected, then create a gradient from the bottom left corner to the top right corner. To do that, select the layer in the layer dialog, then go to Colors -> Brightness-Contrast. Here you can reduce the brightness, I reduced it by 35, but it’s up to you how much you want to reduce (or increase it). We’re actually finished, but I thought the image was a little large, so I cropped it. To do that, choose the Rectangle Select tool, draw a rectangle selection around the part of the image you want to keep. To do this I plan to pay artists to write tutorials that you and I can read here on this site!
MessMyPhoto is a free photo editing service which allows you to add several photo effects online to your photos.

Connect With your Facebook or Picasa Google for adding effects to your photos on each of them. Processed photos can be directly saved to Facebook, Picasa Google or directly to your disk.
Click “select photo” button and select “Load from disk” option for uploading photos from your computer. MessMyPhoto is one of the best utility photo editing tool which allows you to add realistic photo effects to your photos. Although a lovely full sound is awesome, sometimes it's fun to enhance your sound with reverb or effects. Here's an example of a pure unadulterated sax sound by the master Coleman Hawkins from the late 1930's. However as things progressed, technology became available and tastes changed,  we all became used to hearing saxophone with effects added. On recordings, the amount of reverb used varies greatly depending on the style of the music and fashion of the time. Another effect sometimes used is "delay" where a copy or multiple copies of the original sound are repeated. There are different ways to get effects on your sax sound depending on how and where you are using your sax. Another solution which gives you much more control is to use your own personal effects unit similar to what a guitarist might have. The VE-20 also has a neat looping feature where you can build up a track and jam along yourself. With either a pedal or an effects rack unit, you simply connect your saxophone microphone to the unit, then the unit to the mixing desk or amplifier. I created this blog to share my experience touring and performing over the last 30 years all over the world with big bands, jazz ensembles, symphony orchestras and touring shows. In my case, since the eggs have smooth, curved edges, I'll use the Pen Tool, but of course, your photo will be different and a different selection tool may work better. Photoshop added the Black & White adjustment layer above the original image on the Background layer (which means our original full color photo is still there, completely unharmed), and our selection outline was used to define the layer mask for the adjustment layer.

For example, dragging the Reds slider towards the right will lighten any areas that were originally red (or had some amount of red in them). For CS4 and higher, the sliders and other options for the Black & White adjustment appear in the Adjustments panel which you can leave open. This kind of glow effect is pretty quick and easy to create, and definitively useful to know. First locate the actual file on your computer, then right-click on it and choose Extract here or Unpack or something similar. You can give effects to photos from your computer, photos from Facebook and to your photos from Picasa Google etc. I've pretty much worked in every part of the music business from soloist to band leader, musical director, studio musician and even managing an orchestra in London's west end. Dragging the Yellows slider to the left will darken any areas that originally had yellow in them, and so on. So useful in the fact that you take us on a journey introducing new methods which would be normally overlooked or missed. The best thing is that it includes an undo option which allows you to undo changes or effects added by you to a photo. This photo editing service includes several effects like old photo, cyborg, night vision, Golden engross, fish eye, sketch, black & white and many more. This photo editing tool includes tools which allows you to invert colours and rotate the image towards the right side or the left side. Most importantly though, I want to hear about your progress, challenges and victories on the road to learning sax.
