After making a few versions of this snack I’ve realized that in order for it to do “the thing,” the cherries need to be sweet and the almond butter needs to be roasted and salted. Of course, cherries do bring some sugar with them, but even diabetics need some sugar to survive.
Before we get to the recipe for The Best Diabetic Snack Ever (I know it’s probably not  actually the best ever…but I enjoyed it a lot!), I want to invite you to join with others who are making healthy changes.


I prefer to use 70% cocoa chocolate chunks for my chocolate indulgences, because I love the flavor and they are low in sugar. Ensure that you satisfy those non-meal hunger pains the healthy way with healthy snack recipes.

Instead of buying chips or eating chocolate, make healthy snack recipes that are delicious and filling.
Always remember to avoid foods which are rich in trans or saturated fat, cholesterol, sugar or sodium.Here are some suggestions on your daily diet, which you can try on.


You can mix and match with different ingredients to prepare a different salad for every day. For instance, you can use a sugar substitute and egg substitutes to cut down on the risks related to sugar and eggs.
