There is a wide world of difference between the dried green mango I enjoyed the other day and these.

So when a friend of mine asked me to scout out some quick and healthy options at one of her favorite grocery stores, Trader Joe’s, I jumped at the chance—and uncovered some products to make your healthy plant-based diet faster and easier than ever.
So without further ado, here are my top 10 time-saving, whole-food, plant-based products from Trader Joe’s.

I found the change in color rather appealing, much like with Trader Joe’s Green Protein, if something is going to be healthier for me, I expect it to look more natural to boot.


Those guys have mango, guava, pineapple and other fruits and veggies great to start a good diet and lose pounds with a pineapple diet or make your prefered plates. They’re also gluten and soy free, with the exception of the frozen artichoke hearts, which contain citric acid (an ingredient that can be questionable on both fronts).
So I was thrilled when I saw these in the freezer section of Trader Joe’s—free of added salt and ready in as little as 2 minutes.
Unsweetened, these crispy little bites add variety to your diet, taste amazing, and are a great way to eat fruit on the go. Velvety-smooth pear sauce!) But either way, Trader Joe’s is packed with great whole food, plant-based choices.
You might even save some cash, as Trader Joe’s sources most of its products in-house.


Not only does the absence of extra sugar make the snack more healthful and diet friendly, but it allows the natural fruity flavors to delicately emerge.
Without the disguising taste of a sugar coating, I found I could actually distinguish a different taste in the slices depending on how close to the core they had been cut – sweeter and sunnier from outside, more reserved and green tasting at the core.
If only Joe had packaged these in a resealable bag instead of a disposable one the whole issue could have been avoided.
