Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook until the pork is tender and beginning to fall apart, on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-6 hours. Plus – Michael flexes his muscles and answers audience questions by playing “Mighty Mike!”  Then –  we’re kicking off Slow Cooker Week with a party-friendly maple, chicken and cheese dip from Food Network’s Sunny Anderson. Cover, and cook on medium heat for a good ten minutes, stirring every so often, until mushrooms have shrunk in size and have wilted.


Plus – we’re wrapping up Slow Cooker Week and Rach’s making a Reuben style casserole with pastrami meatballs, sauerkraut and barley.
Turn off the stove.Put the trimmed and rinsed green beans into an empty 6-quart slow cooker insert, and pour the mushroom mixture evenly over the top. Pour heavy cream evenly over the top.Cover, and cook on low for 5 hours, or on high for about 2 hours.
