Everyone LOVES meatballs, and these little tasty morsels have a very unique flavour and are to die for. I served the meatballs with a side of roasted beets, a combination that proved a major hit with David! Just prepared these meatballs and they came out real nice considering they have no milk or gluten.
These basic meatballs are delicious with some tomato relish or with creamy mashed sweet potato or cauliflower. Brown meatballs in a large, deep frying pan or a saucepan but don’t cook all the way through. I left out the onions and garlic to make it low FODMAPs friendly, but it was a yummy and spicy twist on spaghetti and meatballs. I did put it back on the range for a few more minutes (sans meatballs) to have the water absorbed a bit more.
It helps give the meatball the right amount of stick combined with the right amount of tenderness. They are easy to make, the mince is a cheap meat option and there are as many varieties of meatballs as there are cuisines in the world.

But I will have to experiment with the ingredients to keep them as close to paleo as possible. Plus, once you take out the breadcrumbs or other grain based fillers, all these glorious meatballs are Paleo friendly.
Personally I want the meatball to be able to stand on it’s own, with a bit of sauce to compliment it. Brown the first side of the meatballs on high heat, then bring the heat down to medium and fry for 3-4 minutes.
