For some reason, the cookbook Nom Nom Paleo: Food for Humans transports me back to my childhood love for books. Nom Nom Paleo: Food for Humans is a hefty hardcover book and every detail was clearly thought of in its creation.
One of my pet peeves with cookbooks is when they don’t include a photo for each recipe.
I will say, when I first looked through this cookbook, I thought the recipes came across as simplistic. Before I talk about these cute little frittata muffins I want to tell you about one of my latest favorite cookbooks! Nom Nom Paleo: Food for HumansВ (written by the creators of the Nom Nom Paleo blog) came out last fall, but I requested a review copy because I had heard such good things about it. It seems like every few days, a review copy of a new Paleo book is magically appearing on my doorstep.


For anyone who thinks paleo is boring, either in flavor or in philosophy, then you should peruse this book because it is anything but boring. If you're strict paleo you may want to rinse as much oil off as you can or use the dried ones. We’ll scribble in your books as you shop for Kerrygold butter, coconut oil, mac nuts, and other Paleo staples. In Arsy’s gorgeous follow-up to her popular debut, The Paleo Slow Cooker, she offers world-class gastrotourism in the form of incredible dishes from around the world. The masterminds behind this book are Michelle Tam, lifelong foodie and creator of the popular blog Nom Nom Paleo, and her husband, Henry Fong, who is the graphic artist responsible for the eye-catching design and photography. In fact, they are some of the best tasting paleo recipes I’ve ever tried, and I am still marveling at how that can happen with so few ingredients. But nothing beats the news that our cookbook, Nom Nom Paleo: Food For Humans, is now being sold in hundreds of Costco stores across North America!
I especially love that the book features a number of Middle Eastern dishes—I can’t wait to throw a Paleo Persian dinner party at my house! Like I said earlier, it’s the textbook you always wished you had, which is especially fun for those new to paleo and still learning the concepts, getting to know the tools, and acclimating to working in the kitchen.
