Here at SocialEarth, I have had the opportunity to write about two important movies that deserve some recognition, The Beautiful Truth and FOOD, Inc.
I will admit that I did not have the production quality or credible witnesses that the Food Matters film has. Food Matters has an incredible team of contributers for the film, with a mile long list of credentials.
Its really nice Justine, hope you will have more movie about eating healthy, and protecting the environment while we eat, and also make clear some people’s opinions about grilled food, the benefits of charcoal grilling or the amount of nutrition in vegetables. The documentary highlights cases where vitamin treatments have completely cured patients of cancer, and the cancer has not returned in any form. Furthermore, the documentary unravels the benefits ofВ Superfoods, which are nutrient dense foods found in nature that supplement a highly balanced diet.
Overall, I would recommend this documentary to anyone with a curiosity about health, whether it be mental or physical. Of course we should eat more whole foods including vegetables and cut out as much of the bad stuff as possible. Below are three terrific, eye-opening documentaries that will make you see food in an entirely new light.В  These movies attempt to inspire the change our broken food system desperately needs.
The film presents a number of frightening facts on the diminishing accountability of corporate farms including “In 1972, the FDA conducted approximately 50,000 food safety inspections. With an emphasis on the health care field, “Food Matters” suggests the medical profession is either ignorant of the health ramifications of conventional food or flat out in cahoots with the food industry. Advocating “rawism” (the practice of eating uncooked fruits and vegetables) and homeopathic remedies, the documentary posits that you are what you eat – that food does, indeed, matter. This 2010 documentary on the nutritional and weight loss benefits of juicing details the filmmaker’s journey to regain his health.  One hundred pounds overweight and suffering from an autoimmune disease, Joe Cross sets off on a cross-country trek vowing to only drink fresh fruit and vegetable juice for 60 days. An inspiring tale of healing and human connection, “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” advocates taking your health into your own hands, ditching the pharmaceuticals and rebalancing your diet. Full Circle connects its members to their food through authentic sourcing and support for local growers and food systems.
Looking at other cultures untainted by the Western world, we see people eating locally grown, unprocessed food. Eating a well-balanced diet ensures you of all required nutrients for optimum wellness and longevity.

Imagine instead your healthcare provider sitting down with you and discussing a different -- and proven effective -- treatment plan consisting of natural, organic foods, supplements and 'superfoods'. Today, eating a well-balanced diet does not ensure complete and optimum nutrition for preventing and treating illness.
Manufacturing technology and the massive transport of food limit our choices for healthy food selections. Even if you do choose healthy, fresh food, you're still not guaranteed of its nutrient quality.
Food grown organically or sustainably in local, naturally fertilized, nutrient-rich soil is simply your best choice in food. A 2003 study in the prestigious peer-reviewed Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry revealed that fruits and vegetables grown organically or sustainably contained significantly higher levels of cancer-fighting antioxidants -- up to 58 percent higher. Of course, as I've warned my readers previously, not all certified organic foods are equal.
Seek out local farmers, food coops, farmers' markets, and community-supported programs in your area. Eat organic or sustainably-grown, naturally fertilized foods from local farmers you trust and support. Select from a wide variety of colorful, fresh, natural whole foods, and avoid processed foods whenever possible. My good friends James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch have created an independent, scientific-based DVD documentary titled Food Matters that explores the politics and realities of food and health care.
How to use the right kinds of foods and supplements to help treat chronic and serious illnesses -- even deadly cancer. Why even lightly steaming your food can be detrimental to your health and what to do instead.
In order to get a full refund* (less shipping charges), Food Matters DVD must be returned unopened within 30 days of receipt. Now a new documentary has been brought to my attention that is changing the way I (and many others) eat and live. It’s about nutritionally depleted foods with genetically modified ingredients and a slurry of chemicals that we cannot avoid in our diet, and then when we feel horrible, we top it off with a concoction of pharmaceutical drugs, that makes for the sickest we have been since the discovery of soap and water.
People often misconcept that grilled food is poisonous and vegetables is green, but I don’t agree with that.

In reality, there is only so long we canВ pretend we know nothing about processed meat, pesticides keeping our fruits and veggies fresh for extra lengths of time, and the time our food spends in a truck before it makes it to our plates.В Food Matters gives insight from PhD.
This documentary, from the first 5 minutes, was the most ludicrous thing that I have every seen! This respected scholar believed the body had an innate ability to heal itself through food. Big-box supermarkets line their shelves with processed foods high in sugars and starch, along with factory-farmed meat, dairy, fish, and eggs. You want to buy from and support the 'real sources' close to home -- the people who truly care about the integrity and quality of your food. Ideally, nutrients come from a healthy, natural diet complete with all the required vitamins and minerals. Food Matters combines the subjects of the first two films together in the latest film about the evils of Big Pharm and Big Ag. The documentary will supply you with information about where and how to tackle these issues, without going to the doctor for a prescription. The most popular dining out options provide fast and even-faster-fast food devoid of any real nutritional value. Even with twins, environmental factors, such as diet, lifestyle, and smoking play a substantially greater role in determining whether a person develops cancer than do genetics.
And have been on a mission to reveal the truth about the lack of nutrition in our food and its connection to our health. Dan Rogers and other nutritional health professionals, as to how and why foods that we believe are healthy, lack the nutritional value our bodies crave. However, Food Matters convinced me that taking vitamins is more beneficial than medical doctors lead people to believe.
I encourage you to order a copy of Food Matters today and watch it with your friends and family.
