I realized I hadn’t posted a recipe article in a while, so I took to my kitchen yesterday to create another muscle-fueling dish! Since we’re off all those awful refined carbohydrates, the store-brand cheese crackers just WON’T do! This came about when I recently had a whopper while out shopping with my girl (weekend carb-up).
I came up with it myself out of need for a very simple, quick high protein recipe that was made with real food.
I came across a recipe posted by Odette Tracey Swanepoel on Tim Noakes’ The Real Meal Revolution facebook page.


I saw it on a new low-carb blog owned by nutritionist Emily Maguire called Low Carb Genesis. I used to eat this meal regularly before I started my carb-cycling lifestyle a few years ago. The GL for this recipe is 10, so it’s a good choice in terms of controlling blood sugar levels.
