Cabbage soup diet is a fad diet which is based on a so-called fat-burning cabbage soup, as well as a very strict 7-day diet plan.

This mass restriction will just lead to you either breaking down and cheating bad during your diet or reverting to old habits once the diet is over.
When you use this diet or restrict calories and intake of food to a minimum, you are going to lose water weight and your digestive tract will be less strained and will be able to digest the rest of the food that’s in you, kind of like a detox. The cabbage soup is said to have negligible calories and dieters can consumed unlimited amount of cabbage soup during the diet.
The cabbage soup recipe includes a lot of vegetables such as cabbage, onions, and tomatoes, which are low in calorie. Try to include in your diet some apples or bananas, or try to include normal food with no sugar.
Cabbage soup also seems to be a diuretic and mix that with high sodium and not getting enough water spells disaster.

Among the reasons given are they have grown tiresome on the soup after a few days, but the most important reason is the diet itself. It should not hurt if you are healthy and just stay on the diet plan for 7 days, then continue your life by following a healthy and balanced diet (BUT not overeating), at the same time exercising regularly and drinking plenty of water. There is no need to massively cut the amount of calories in your diet, small and steady changes work best.
It is NOT a balanced diet, thus it couldn’t provide enough essential nutrients to our bodies.
If a person is to stay on the diet for a prolonged period, it may lead to vitamin and mineral deficiencies, as well as malnutrition.
