Alas, I couldn’t figure out how to make it happen, so we got to work on Real Life Paleo instead. These recipes are the best of the best, the recipes we contributors are most proud of and excited to share with all of you.
As someone who doesn’t bake much, I was expecting to be daunted by this recipe just looking at the photos. Many of the recipes are autoimmune protocol-friendly or could easily be adapted (especially Sarah’s) except for the baked goods. However, Bill and Hayley’s brains are bigger than ours and they ran with the idea – using their amazing connections to the best talent in the community they have brought together THE BEST cookbook of all paleo recipe bloggers!
And many of these recipes are never-before-seen creations that you won’t find anywhere else!


This simple recipe involves roasting nuts in bacon grease and a few seasonings, then adding in chopped bacon. The recipes are organized by contributor, with a brief bio of the contributor followed by their recipes. Each recipe includes prep and cook times, serving sizes, and extra tips from the chef on ingredients, cooking methods or times, or variations on the recipe. These little ice cream sandwiches could impress any guest, Paleo or otherwise, kid or adult.
They don’t taste nutty or have a gritty texture like so many recipes using almond or coconut flour.
