What better way to increase your survival and bushcraft knowledge than actually seeing how things are done. There are exhibitions and shows happening all the time, but some stand out as true bushcraft shows, offering all things survival and bushcraft.
Local and national and international celebrities and craftsman are common to see performing true bushcraft skills for us all to learn. Why not join us for a weekend of courses and a chance for bushcrafters and adventurous families to share skills and swap stories. It’s a jam-packed, three-day event filled with amazing bushcraft activities that will take you, your friends and family on a bushcraft and survival adventure that you’ll never forget. The Great Wild Food and Chilli Fair is happening at Rooks Hall, Maldon, Essex on the 27th and 28th June 2015 the first event of its kind in the East of England region. The WILD arena provides an opportunity to learn and get up close to wild foods and includes a Bushcraft trail, which visitors follow, taking them through various Bushcraft and survival skills.
Onsite you will find leading Bushcraft schools and an international band of professional instructors hosting introductory lessons on all kinds of skills, trade and demonstrator stands, acres of woodland to practise your skills in and yes individual campfires are permitted, two lakes plus a herd of North American Bison! The Gathering has established itself as the ideal outdoor FAMILY EVENT of the year and is recognised as the original bushcraft show.

David has helped hundreds of people, young and old, experience Bushcraft, be that learning new skills or sharpening up old ones. They organise a variety of courses in Brittany, France, ranging from half-day to week courses including bushcraft, survival, bow hunting, navigation and sailing.
To this end, besides the fudge, we will demonstrate, fire lighting, make tea with a Gillie Kettle, Spoon carving using a shaving horse, plus the sale of items that a bushman may well use. Knives for bushcraft, game preparation, wood carving and cooking are all part of his repertoire.
He has used his passion within traditional crafts and skills to develop, refine and create robust, stunning and fully customisable designs, which fit appropriately and beautifully within their environment and every element of his product is lovingly handcrafted. Set up by Naomi and Dan in 2011 Outback2basics teaches Bushcraft, primitive & traditional skills, from fire lighting to hide tanning and everything else in between. They are a Land Based College with over 790 acres of mixed habitat and have a dedicated Bushcraft & Experimental Archaeology area.
