Looping
By setting a loop region, you can use Capo to repeat a section of a song. The loop is a very handy tool when learning music.
For example, you can use loops to repeat difficult passages at a slower speed, and try playing along slowly until you can get through it with no mistakes. Then, speed up the playback and try to keep up. Practicing for accuracy at a slower speed will improve your ability to play cleanly at full speed, no matter what instrument you play.

To set a loop region
- Click in the waveform view at the point where you wish for the loop to begin
- Drag the mouse until the loop is the desired length
- Release the mouse button to set the loop
To set a loop between two markers
- Double-click in the waveform view, between two markers
To set a loop from the cursor to a specified point
- Hold down the shift key, and click the waveform view
To play the loop, do one of the following
- Press the L key on the keyboard
- Click on the loop button near the top of the loop region
To resize a loop region
- Move your mouse over one of the edges of the loop
- Click, then drag to resize the loop
To move a loop region
- Move your mouse over the middle of the loop
- Click, then drag to move the loop
To set a loop using the keyboard
To clear a loop, do one of the following
- Select Edit > Clear Selection from the main menu
- Press the Escape key
To set a loop around the whole song
- Select Edit > Select All
- Hold down the command key while pressing 'A'
