Overview: Princess Sofia: Reverse the Curse is a puzzle game that I'd made while at Workinman Interactive for the Disney Jr. Watch App which runs on mobile platforms. The objective is to capture all of the butterfly pieces on the board before your shots run out. You capture pieces by aiming your wand at them and shooting a spell of a matching color to hit them. You can switch between two colors at a time and you can bounce shots off walls. You only have a limited amount of magic so you need to beat the level in a given amount of shots to win.

The game features 7 unique worlds with 3 levels each. When you play a level, the background starts desaturated and as you collect butterflies various pieces of the background fill in with color. As you get to new worlds, new game pieces such as walls, color changing butterflies (capture all on-screen pieces of that color), dragonflies (capture all touching colors) and magic gems (capture all on-screen pieces with whirlwind spell) start to appear. As well, the number of possible colors for butterflies and level design complexity both increase. The game starts and ends with cutscenes and you navigate through the worlds via the level select screen.

Role: Lead Developer. I worked through the game from design to gold master. I'd developed nearly everything in the game aside from the tutorial which a colleague had handled; the cutscenes, level select, level loading, aiming, firing, spells, ect. The game is optimized for mobile and runs well on very low end devices.
