This little garden display and light unit is made from 4  4X4 Pressure treated timbers, rope and a solar light.
Summer is just around the corner and I thought it might be nice to use the lights to create a decorative display that would add night light next to a garden bench, allowing me to sit outside on balmy evenings.
You can use any solar light that will fit on top of a 69 x 69mm block of pine, or even drill a hole in the top to mount stake-type solar lights.

You will find 69 x 69mm pine at your local hardware store or timber merchant.A length of 69 x 69mm pine was cut into lengths of different heights to make the staggered display stand. The tree and squirrel is made using birch panel, and the scene at the back is a photo taken at the Long Point Lighthouse in Twillingate, Newfoundland.
