In our latest Professional Photographer to the Rescue post our pro shows us how to slow down the image-making process and learn the subtleties of making beautiful fine art landscape photography.
With such long exposures a tripod is essential, but in addition to its stability it allows you to fine-tune the composition in successive shots until you are completely happy.
Thank you for visiting Alex West Photography web site. This site is result of my love of fine art landscape photography and capturing those precious images forever. My fine art landscape photography prints will be available for purchase online through an easy to use, secure shopping cart. Although Patrick’s Di Fruscia’s journey with professional photography began when an employer asked him to take photos of a sport supplement line, his passion for capturing unique landscapes developed while he was visiting Gaspe Peninsula. Patrick has spent a great deal of time reading about techniques and studying photography, but his own unique style has begun to emerge. Patrick’s stunning landscapes are sure to evoke a sense of adventure, as well as a feeling of absolute tranquility. Commercial Fine Art is honored to welcome Patrick Di Fruscia to the team.  His work is a strong addition to our  gallery of luxury fine art images. Loose prints are available as well as our preferred “ready to hang” option called “UltraArt” - The absolute best fine art presentation, exclusively available through Commercial Fine Art. Ultra Art is the seamless integration of fine art, decor, & presentation - all in a finely crafted Masterpiece. When you purchase a “loose” print from Commercial Fine Art it is shipped safely in a durable high quality environmental friendly tube. Birding is typically best in the early morning and late afternoon, when the light is also often best for landscape photography. Here you can explore various decorating scenarios with contemporary color and lighting schemes surrounding the fine art.
Occasionally, depending on the fine art print size and substrate, we may ship your art flat in a reinforced package.
The special tone and photography saturation are result of being at the location at exactly right time, usually only few minutes window at early sunrise or sunset.

Even if it has been done a million times, I honestly think that every landscape photographer would love to have one of these in his or her portfolio. We recommend keeping the art in this original shipping package ready for transport to your local framer. This eventually led to more landscape photography.  The beauty of nature has always fascinated and filled me, and I find more and more that attempting to capture photographically what I experience has grown into a full-blown passion.
We took her to France to learn how to take super-slow-shutter-speed seascapes from top black-and-white photographer Jonathan Chritchley. We suggest minimal handling because of propensity for the art to be creased, finger printed, or damaged. Loose prints are available as well as our preferred “ready to hang” option called “UltraArt” – The absolute best presentation, exclusively available through Commercial Fine Art.
