Following our successful sponsorship last year of a young girl, together with her parents, at a family weekend at Altrincham, in October 2014 a young nine year old boy went to Grantham for the weekend with Diabetes UK Care Events.
The young lad and his parents subsequently came to our Christmas meeting and gave excellent feedback on the event. We are currently in liaison with the Paediatric department at Warwick Hospital with a view to sponsoring two more children during 2015.
