I am an organizing blogger too, but right now I’d be terribly embarrassed for someone to see my home and how cluttered it is.
God made decluttering easy for us: we moved twice, had two floods, and are moving to Nepal. My husband and I just went through some major decluttering as we just moved overseas with only a few suitcases to our name–and yes, it’s very freeing indeed to not have so much stuff! While I believe that the best change is slow and steady and often happens inch by inch, a challenge is a great way to set clear boundaries and make time and space in several areas of your beautiful life. However, I hope to reinforce some of the habits I started over the summer so that after the upheavals at the end of September, we flow straight into good habits! But after several months of trying to find it, even braving the dread Self Help section, I gave up and downloaded it.This is a very good and practical book for anyone who wants to declutter or streamline their life. We are both interested in adopting more of a minimalist life style as part of our general commitment to environmental values. Fill it with items to donate for 5 minutes every day or go all the way and choose a whole space to declutter over the course of 10 days or choose another decluttering project like going paperless.

I also recently did a digital media sabbatical and need to focus on having less of it in my life as my days felt so peaceful and calm without constantly checking email etc.
