Hollow Hills appear as white mounds on a Magic Map; the size of the mound on the Magic Map corresponds to the Hill's size. These are the most common landmark in the Twilight Forest, and they come in three different sizes. Small hills have mostly Coal, Iron, and occasionally Redstone stalactites, as well as a few small Glowstone ones. The largest hollow hills cover an area around 112 blocks in diameter, giving them an interior volume of over 175,000 blocks. They are built out of what is called Mazestone, a hard material found in bricks, mosaics, and blue-gray stone blocks. Navigating a Labyrinth can be a challenge, they consist of twisty corridors, large rooms and occasional treasures stashed in dead ends. Minotaur Hideouts is a room that can be found that contain two chests, a minotaur spawner and a trap.
The Monsters that can found throughout the Labyrinth include Fire Beetles, Slime Beetles, Pinch Beetles, Maze Slimes, Cave Spiders, Creepers, Endermen, and Minotaurs. Inside the chests in the Minotaur Hideouts, they can contain the essential Maze Map Focus, which can be used to create a Maze Map and can include Iron Ingots, Steeleaf, Potions, and Ironwood Ingots, as well as full Ironwood and Steeleaf armor pieces. One way to get to the vault safely is punching through the Mazestone blocks with a high-grade Pickaxe one block above floor level and lined up at the 'middle' of the room in question.
If one was to survey the relatively flat ground of the Twilight Forest, one might notice these dome-shaped hills. Likewise, the size of the Hill corresponds to the variety, quantity and rarity of the treasure within.

Monsters include Spiders, Zombies, Skeletons, Silverfish, Swarm Spiders, Redcap Goblins and Kobolds. Additionally, large hollow hills are the only place to find the Wraiths and Redcap Sappers. The Labyrinth includes some lighting but it is recommended to bring your own to cut down on spawns and to mark your way.
They are often the source of many Minotaur coming at you during your adventure in the Labyrinth. These treasures are said to lie within a secret vault that you will almost certainly need a Maze Map to find. Beneath the stone shell, the hills are hollow, filled with ore stalactites and stalagmites. Sometimes, Hollow Hills have Caves running through them, allowing for them to be noticed from the surface or discovered while caving. There are typically 2 treasure chests which usually have fairly common items such as Buckets, Ore Magnets or Torches, but may rarely have one or two Diamonds or Stealeaves]]. Coal, Iron, Redstone, Gold, and Lapis can be found among the stalactites and rarely you may find some diamonds and emeralds. The first level is accessible from a small ruin somewhere in the clearing, or you may be able to find natural Caves nearby breaking into it. These chests include Maze Wafers, Blaze Rods, Ironwood Ingots, and occasionally Golden Apples and Steeleaf.
The second level of a Labyrinth will contain a secret room that contains very valuable treasures such as the unique Mazebreaker, Emerald Blocks and Emeralds, some Steeleaf, some Ironwood, and occasionally an Ender Chest to stash these treasures in safely.

Naturally, one will find the most dangerous monsters here, including Skeletons, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Creepers, Endermen, Redcap Goblins, Redcap Sappers, Wraiths, Fire Beetles, Slime Beetles, and Pinch Beetles. The second level of the Labyrinth is surrounded by Bedrock and only accessible from an iron-bard room in the first level. Monsters include Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders, Creepers, Swarm Spiders, Redcap Goblins, Kobolds, and Fire Beetles. Treasures of the most value can be found amongst these hills such as the rare Naga Scales and Steeleaf. Vault rooms are hidden by several layers of Mazestone and will have four large chests in the center. If you get too close the Minoshroom can still attack, so keep your distance from the fence while using this method. Treasures are more valuable and could include Ironwood Ingot, as well as unique and rare treasures like the Transformation Powder, Moonworm Queen, Uncrafting Table, and the Peacock Feather Fan. The four large chests will be heavily guarded by 16 wooden pressure plates which are resting on TNT. Sand will be resting on Mazestone that is above the wooden pressure plates, preventing easy entrance from the top.
Great care should be taken when entering the secret room so as to not blow up the valuable loot.
