I like this entry particularly because it doesn’t have the gore that other entries in this category might. To build the list, I adopted a few rules (and somewhat arbitrary decisions):The movie should take place in the future (beyond the production date of the movie). The year was a package of all genres with movies like Chennai Express, Krrish 3, Aatma, Ram Leela, Grand Masti, Special Chabbis, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and so on.

The movie was loved by majority of the audience but came with inconsistent reviews from the critics. The reality competition show features four teams, each based around a particular set of survivalist skills. There’s not a lot of solo confessionals into a camera and Nat Geo makes a big point of letting us know that everyone stayed out in the wild for the entire three-month shoot and that no one checked into a hotel between legs of the competition.
They’ve posted the entire first episode online and you can watch it before it premieres below. If you’ve earned the title, honored the uniform, bled for your brothers, and served your time…you can wear whatever the hell you want, as to not dishonor our Corps; especially if your no longer subject to uniform regulations. I hate to see him gone, Maybe we will see him next week, I hate to see the team down a member but they may prove to be faster.
In the same way they didn’t let the 2 military members left paddle down a glacier stream that led straight into a moulin.
I hope that maybe, just maybe, I stumble upon a good point or two in this, but my primary goal here is to apply all that makes a zombie movie a zombie movie to flicks which might not always garner such a distinction.
The zombie metaphor, used in this film to directly address the idea of growing consumerism and how it shapes our everyday lives, was so perfectly applied that it seems completely seamless.
The movie gives a chilling look into what can go wrong when a unprepared person tries to take on nature. Crusoe is the only survivor of a shipwreck and has to survive on a deserted tropical island. This movie is pure brutality, and is not for those who get squeamish at the site of blood and guts! It can take place before the apocalyptic event, if part of it takes place after the apocalyptic event. Some them broke most records at the box office, while some did not fair much and were declared flop. This superhero movie with Hrithik Roshan on the lead could grab 180.37 Crore at the box office and the count is still on.

Really fu:)ing stupid responses from people who haven’t done anything in their life, I also like the fact I can sit down with my ENTIRE family and watch it.
In my opinion, Romero managed to kill his creation a bit with this film, and the artistic guts seen in that is a sight to behold, especially coming from the AARP-aged Romero. With his tweaks in the idea of what is and isn’t a zombie, wiggle room was given to a sub-genre which had pretty much had its head cut off and its body burned. It’s also a far more localized form of a zombie, a deeply personal and intense portrayal of the struggle made enormous in so many other pieces of the sub-genre.
Otherwise, it’s as witty as a movie comes, hilarious, gory and full of flesh-eating zombies who bite their way through an entire cast of goofs, sluts, thugs and douche bags until the credits roll. My girlfriend shot it forth as an idea from out of the blue, and I immediately crumpled to the floor, absolutely ashamed that I missed this perfect example of not only a great zombie movie, but one of the first. Many would say that the first is the best, the most important, and though it was scary and new for the time, and though it holds up well over the years, its underlying themes were a bit less clear than in my favorite zombie movie of all time, where the zombie metaphor couldn’t possibly be more apt. Uncover the secrets of what caused Oceanic 815 to crash and experience their incredible journey as they battle to survive and rewrite their own fate.
The Book of Eli is the story of one man who is on a mission to revitalize a lost society, in a post-apocalyptic world.
The film is a classic sci-fi movie and won  the Academy Award for Best Special Effects in 1953. 127 Hours is a story about mountain climber Aron Ralston acted by James Franco, gone on adventure alone in Blue John Canyon, Utah who falls and his arm trapped under a rock. The creator of the race said that ” the race was designed to make all the members in the team have a say-so in the strategies used during the race, but the military will never win because only one person is put in charge and also the military guys tried to conduct the entire race with almost no sleep, causing them to make bad decisions and slowing down duel to fatigue”. And at the same time as it kills the genre, it resurrects it, ultimately giving the legacy away to anyone with a camera and a dream. Whether one loves or hates The Happening (I liked it), it’s basically the story of a zombie, one man at a time. Everyone knows the story, everyone knows the legend and the impact that Mary Shelley’s creation has had on horror literature as a collective.
It’s all about creating docile masses via subliminal propaganda, and a small resistance looking to violently end that status quo.
If not for that blue make-up, I’d say that this movie was absolutely perfect, regardless of genre. They actually travel only a couple of miles per journey, easy to spot if you know the places and have a map. It really is that important a film in the sub-genre, and I do hope it receives its due appreciation as such. Rules, a sense of science and logic are necessary to have Rage-infected zombies like those in 28 Days Later, but if those rules are made firm, then there really is no limit to what artists can do with the concept. Suddenly, however, in one world those who are freed become anathema to the rest of the constructed society, an evil with a chance to spread and infect…just like a zombie. An unknown force sweeps over the masses, turning the human populace into a group of creatures hell-bent on its own demise. Whether big-budget or not, high-concept or not, this movie was about as perfect as a movie gets in conveying all of its points, from philosophy to fear. Alright, don’t forget about the big badger, pay attention to it!Life of Pi One of the best movie in the top 8 list. TV series, anime, shorts and animated movies will be included in different lists (with very few seminal exceptions such as Akira)Quality: I haven’t watched all of them!
If the MARPATs were so sacred, the Corps wouldn’t DRMO them by the droves whereas anyone can pick them up at their local military surplus. It’s a dangerous show for our kids because it shows that you can do crazy things and still get out ok… I wanted it to be real, so desperately that I ignored the signs (first season : “they’ll have to paddle 200 miles downstream” 200 miles ??
While that line of action develops, we also have the story of Neo and the gang fighting the robots in the real world, where they battle to save humanity from its enslavement, its zombification at the bits and bytes of the machines. Those who are infected are consumed to the degree of catatonia with the idea of killing the human race.
Caligari is 2nd-week material in Horror 101, I’d go so far as to say that this is 1st-night material. Life of Pi is a storytelling adventure movie about a young Indian boy named Pi who stranded in the deepest ocean when the ship sinks during thunderstorm. Recommendation: Keep to correcting boots walking out of the PX on their haircuts and belts. The only difference is that the human hatred is internalized, nipped in the bud by each person who contracts it. Just like Boyle’s running zombies in 28 Days Later, all it takes to see them as such is a slight logical shift. I not going to spoil your mood because this is a must watch adventurous survival film.Cast Away Have watched this movie for few times, its so entertaining!
