Actually Lukas, I’ve just had my wisdom teeth removed and my aftercare instructions specifically say no mouthwash of any kind for at least a week. My post-operative instructions say to rinse gently with salt water three times a day for a week after the first 12 hours after surgery. I had a tooth extraction approximately 10 years ago and the swelling of my cheek never came down.
