This 1 day course is suitable for smaller businesses that have identified a need to have employees who are trained and certified to the standard of this course by an official first aid training provider. The EFAW course covers the essential elements of first aid, giving the trained first aider the skills and knowledge to deal with an emergency situation until help from the ambulance service arrives. Upon completion of a practical and multi choice assessment, successful candidates will gain an Emergency First Aid Certificate valid for three years. Emergency First Aid at Work or EFAW, is accepted as the minimum standard that must be achieved for many who are designated at workplace First Aiders.
Course Aims: To provide students with the skills to perform Emergency First Aid in the workplace. Take the opportunity to know more about First Aid.  The best training available, delivered on site by our team of experienced trainers who will make this course fun, interesting, practical and relevant to you. Our First Aid training courses are a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions that are designed to develop ability and most importantly practical confidence.

If your workplace is a low risk environment with no more than 50 employees or a high risk environment with less than 5 employees the EFAW course will ensure you meet the requirements of the HSE guidelines. The location of a course can be either your place of work (dependant on numbers) or one of a number of local, easily accessible, facilities that we will arrange. The course is ideal for higher or advanced level hazards and delegates will learn a wide range of first aid emergencies enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt safe and effective way. This course is an ideal stepping stone and introduction to the First Aid at Work qualification that other designated First Aiders will have to achieve.
