What to take in case of emergency evacuation, first home supply list, sample emergency preparedness plan small business, disaster recovery planning definition - Reviews

Not too long ago, my friend Maria and I started talking about bug-out bags and how everyone should have one in case of an emergency. At first, I thought she just meant that she has a bag with important papers in case something happens, they can just grab and go. Living in the Houston area, there is always the possibility of a hurricane from June to November, but storms aside, you never know when any kind of natural disaster (or a zombie apocalypse) will come knocking at your door. I think the number one thing on your list for your bug-out bag or survival kit is emergency food in case of disasters, and of course, enough water for each person in your family as well (at least 1 gallon per person a day is recommended). Other important things for your bag or kit should be all prescription and non prescription medication, including a first aid kit, tools such as a knife, duct tape, batteries, and other like supplies, hygiene essentials like soap, feminine product, towels, etc., clothing and blankets, and of course, important documents such as birth certificates, licenses, will, etc.

Something else to consider is packing cash and change that you’re not going to dip into! Keep a snack stash located in an easy to reach place ready for serious snack lacking situations!  The Take A Break Emergency Food Tin looks just like a wall mounted in case of emergency break glass red alarm box. Here are just a few examples of recent designs from the Keep Calm-o-Matic creative community.
