Following these basic tips will allow one to effectively fight against the living dead and hopefully survive the zombie apocalypse. Many of the best survival techniques follow the same logic as to how you should prepare for major natural disasters; stock up on food and medical supplies, have an escape route, and form a community of people you can work with. Before any offensive plans should be put into play, one must observe the world and decide the current state of society.
Nonperishable food, purified water, and enough rations to last until more can be found are top priority in any doomsday scenario.
In a zombie apocalypse, like any other end-of-the-world scenario, it is nearly impossible to survive alone. There must be a designated leader to take control and plans for someone to take the place of the leader if he or she no longer can lead.

Harvard psychiatrist Steven Schlozman wrote a (fictional) medical paper on the zombies presented in Night of the Living Dead and refers to the condition as Ataxic Neurodegenerative Satiety Deficiency Syndrome caused by an infectious agent.
In such a scenario zombies would take over entire countries, roaming city streets eating anything living that got in their way.

Pick one place right outside your home for sudden emergencies and one place outside of your neighborhood in case you are unable to return home right away.
Make a list of local contacts like the police, fire department, and your local zombie response team.
When zombies are hungry they won’t stop until they get food (i.e., brains), which means you need to get out of town fast!

This has fueled worldwide speculation as to what will happen on that fateful day, the most popular outcome obviously being death to us all. They concluded that there's nothing out of the ordinary, except for the normal December solstice.
And no matter who you talk to, the answer will always be the same—they will survive. In all actuality, some will survive, but for the most part, they'll end up like the dudes below. In a mere minutes, I was able to find a machete, ax, baseball bat, chainsaw, and several types of hammers. Instead of finding the tools you'll need, you'll find yourself fighting off people that are desperate for supplies. All you need to do is turn on your TV, get a nice glass of whiskey and press "close" on your home remote control. We recently saw Hurricane Sandy leave millions without electricity, running water and transportation. Smaller cars struggle through tough and steep terrain, and their smaller tires are also more immune to popping than bigger ones. The zombie apocalypse will probably wipe out the majority of people you know and love, so it's up to you to survive and keep the human population from becoming extinct.
For reference, Shelter supplies should last you at least one month and you should have enough food to last you about 2 weeks on-the-run. If there is still power, cars, and people moving around, then danger has not yet reached a critical level.
Once the primary supplies are covered and accounted for, lesser supplies will also prove useful.
Woodstock junior Lidia Ellington states, “The best possible survival group consists of only three refugees.” Ellington is not exactly wrong in her theory, as three would be acceptable, even preferable, in a class one outbreak (only a few scattered zombies) or even a class two outbreak (more zombies, but not enough to disrupt society). It is best to separate the people of the group into smaller groups and assign those groups jobs. They can prove to be more than useful in gathering supplies such as firewood or breaking into a locked location.
Although its meaning has changed slightly over the years, it refers to a human corpse mysteriously reanimated to serve the undead. This includes things like water, food, and other supplies to get you through the first couple of days before you can locate a zombie-free refugee camp (or in the event of a natural disaster, it will buy you some time until you are able to make your way to an evacuation shelter or utility lines are restored). Also identify an out-of-state contact that you can call during an emergency to let the rest of your family know you are ok. Plan where you would go and multiple routes you would take ahead of time so that the flesh eaters don’t have a chance! This assistance might include consultation, lab testing and analysis, patient management and care, tracking of contacts, and infection control (including isolation and quarantine). There is no scientific evidence to support any claims of an impending apocalypse, so where does that leave us?Well, as everyone knows, science can't explain everything. If your only option is a small car, try and find tools and accessories to add to the car to make up for its size.

Zombies can attack more easily in cities, where there isn't much room to run.Cities are crowded, noisy, and compact. Good running shoes is also not a bad idea. Got your own tips for surviving the zombie apocalypse? On the other hand, if no one is to be seen or heard from, no new reports are coming through, and the only noises to be heard are the shuffling and moaning of the living dead, then precautionary actions should be taken immediately. Fire starters such as lighters, matches, or flint and steel strikers are absolutely crucial.
On the other hand, in class four or class five outbreaks, when the world has completely ended, more than three survivors should be together at all times.
Looters, who should be fast, light people who can get in and out of a danger zone quickly, will be needed to go out and find supplies while also scouting the area for any threats. In desperate times, makeshift weapons can always be fashioned from household items as well. You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency. Other zombie origins shown in films include radiation from a destroyed NASA Venus probe (as in Night of the Living Dead), as well as mutations of existing conditions such as prions, mad-cow disease, measles and rabies.
Below are a few items you should include in your kit, for a full list visit the CDC Emergency page. Evacuation packs are not updated frequently, and prescription medications cannot always be hoarded — so there needs to be a way for people to figure out what expired meds are safe to take. Vehicles are also an essential, trucks preferably diesel that lasts the longest and is the least commonly used, and pedal bikes for those involved in your escape plan.
So why think it can explain doomsday?Worldwide, people have begun to build bunkers, filling them with cans of Spam and Mountain Dew. If you can't find anything, or are simply not there, you can search through any neighboring houses that are unoccupied (or occupied with the living dead). With the weapons you have, prepare to fight the zombies in your home and bash their skulls in.
While your first thoughts might be to collect weapons to fight the zombies, don’t forget you will need to eat.
In the event that a zombie apocalypse could actually occur, there are some tips it will be important to follow. Purification tablets or tools for the aforementioned water will come in handy for disease prevention. In an outbreak as extreme as that, twenty, twenty-five, or even thirty survivors would be ideal. While looters are gathering supplies, hunters will be needed to gather food and water for the camp; the hunters should be quiet enough to hunt but fast enough to escape, if necessary. Not only would scientists be working to identify the cause and cure of the zombie outbreak, but CDC and other federal agencies would send medical teams and first responders to help those in affected areas (I will be volunteering the young nameless disease detectives for the field work). This may not be the easiest thing to do, but if you have material laying around, build a fence. During the winter and fall, the cold slows down the zombies a considerable amount, if not completely freeze them immobile. I am making multiple different cakes ahead of a party and absolutely love the favors in this cake!
Toilet paper, extra clothes, sleeping gear, and other toiletries will make the apocalypse much more comfortable, if that is possible. In the case of emergencies, medics who are experienced and can work under pressure would prove helpful.
A chain-link fence might bode well against a few zombies, but they'll eventually knock it down with numbers.
A battery-operated, two-way radio will also prove to be very helpful in signaling other survivors or even calling a nearby rescue team. Survivalists are useful in any doomsday scenario, as they can help themselves as well as others; this group of people must understand nature and work with it. I mean, hell, people in the movies end up surviving somehow and movies are just like real life, so you'll be fine. And Alex, some people do not consider Taiwanese to be Chinese because they dont consider Taiwan to be part of China. Finally, those who know how to use a variety of weapons and are able to stay awake long periods of time can serve the group as guards. Use a manual-powered generator (which you should've have looted from Big 5) whenever needed.
