Williams digital pianos have an uncompromising attention to detail that you hear and will see each single time you sit in the computer keyboard. How many keys are on a standard piano is a common question beginners have, and the answer is 88.Some keyboards, however, have fewer than this number.
I have a bachelor's in music and grew up with my own cherry Yamaha baby grand in a room with hardwood floors. In order to really learn to play the piano, you will want to purchase the best 88 key keyboard you can find.
But then again, my parents spent upwards of 10 grand on that piano and it was used and on sale. In order to increase your odds of purchasing a keyboard that will provide you with a fun, realistic playing experience, strongly consider narrowing your search to a select few trusted brands. These brands include Yamaha, Casio, Williams, Roland, Korg, and perhaps a few others.
That being said, this piano rivals most of the upright acoustics I've played on and blows all the others out of the water. Again, reading a few digital keyboard reviews will really help you figure out which brands (and which pianos within those brands) are the highest quality.

The most annoying thing about an average upright is that the older they get they less they hold their tune, and random keys may lose tension. Limiting your search to these brands will really help you in finding the best piano keyboard. Why it is Important to Find the Best Digital KeyboardCourtesy of mazzolawasacowboyYou do not have to look very hard to find dozens, if not hundreds, of cheap piano keyboards on the market today. Keyboards tend to have unstable stands (not good with little ones around), and it is seriously frustrating when I lose the sustain pedal in the middle of a piece because it's not anchored to anything. Most of these keyboards are made by off-brand companies and marketed as being high-quality, realistic instruments. The truth, however, is that most of these so-called pianos are little more than toys. The keys have zero resistance, and the sound they produce is much closer to the bleeps and squeaks of a machine than it is the full, rich sound of an acoustic piano.Fortunately, there are plenty of high-quality, affordable digital keyboards out there. Along with this, the keyboard also has a very pleasant piano sound that is boosted by a 12W speaker system and dual 6W amplifiers, providing you with all the volume you might need.Best of all, however, is all of the extra features and modes that Yamaha has built in to this keyboard. The P35 includes a large number of settings geared towards helping a beginner learn how to play the piano, making the P35 the best keyboard to learn piano that you will find. The P35 also has quite a few settings and modes for you to employ as you increase in skill, meaning that it will still continue to serve you even after you have advanced past the point of a beginner. All of these extra settings combined with an excellent key action and realistic piano sound make the P35 the very near the best Yamaha keyboard geared towards beginners on the market today. The sustain pedal isn't what I'd like it to be, but I haven't figured out all the settings yet.
For one, when you play a key it bounces up and hits the felt above to where you hear it hit one another.
Its a dull softer sound but it drives me crazy, especially when I am playing a lot of keys fast! Another thing I do not like is the sustain pedal does not sustain as well as preveious pianos (real) I have had. When I am not playnig anything I can hear static in the speakers and they are not that loud. The USB works well but you do hear the piano sounds come through to the computer when using usb. The legs (side panels) were already together with the brackets, all that needed to be done was to put the pedal bar on and then screw on the back panel, it took me about 10 minutes.

Had a friend help lift the piano on top and that was easy it there is a slider piece that slides into the bracket and lines it self up to screw on the top.
I have not experienced any of the 'buzzing' or 'lag time' issues other reviewers have mentioned. The instructions to put it together are very minimal and it definitely requires an extra set of hands since its so heavy!
My only issue is when I plug in my headphones I get a constant low humming sound; but it's something I can live with. I don't believe it has anything to do with the piano, because I don't hear any humming when the phones are not plugged in. I needed a weighted key, close to a real, piano for my lessons and this piano fits the bill and works well.
It has everything that I wanted in a digital piano except weighted keys (such as Yamaha's Clavinova).
It is great being able to plug headphones into the piano and play as loud as I want after my kids go to bed. It is not the best quality in the world, but you can't find a brand new digital piano like this for a better price. Overall i think its a good piece for as a decor and anyone looking to have this as a family piano from beginner to intermidiate players.
Just one little thing that may bother you is that when you first turn it on it takes a few seconds to adjust its sound.
