The most common insect damage seen will be the holes of Anobium Punctatum which is the Latin name for the 'Common Furniture Beetle'. Wood Boring Beetles lay their eggs in the cracks of the bark of dead trees and logs and when the larvae hatch, they bore into the log chewing tunnels throughout the wood.
