Bumble bee control is similar on how you will control all the other bees, wasps, and hornets. Bumble Bees do not dig holes or make tunnels in the wood; however they will nest in vacant rodent burrows, under piles of grass clippings or leaves, stones, logs, etc. For bumble bees, please apply in the evening when they are at rest to be sure that you have gotten all of them at once because if you spray during the day, it might agitate the bees and not all the bees might be in there, they will come back and just make another nest somewhere near the first one. This treatment is generally applied with a liquid spray (Fenvastar Ecocap, DEMON WP), dust (DELTA DUST), and aerosols (PT WASP-FREEZE AEROSOL).
This treatment is to be recommended to use when you have an infestation in an area that you cannot reach such as inside walls, blocks, or other structural voids to treat for bee and wasp activity within by drilling a small hole if needed.
This treatment is generally used for large turf or other landscape areas and contains directions for specific amounts of the product to be applied as a liquid spray (Fenvastar Ecocap, DEMON WP) to a given area. You would apply it in the areas that the bees are commonly seen and coming in contact with. We have 6 hedge bushes framing the front of our home and have noticed suddenly a sworm of bumble bees taking over each headge. Its a common behavior for the bees to bore another hole and find their way out if the initial hole is not treated before being plugged back up. I had the council out to what I thought was wasps as I had been attacked and stung by on, twice, on the jawline after starting up the lawn mower. This year we have a plague of bees (both bumble and carpenter) all around our back porch and deck, which is partially covered, and can’t even go out there because they are so aggressive. I have bubmble bees living in an old chipmunk borrow under the edge of my small plastic pond. I have bumble bees living in an old chipmunk borrow under the edge of my small plastic pond.
I went to move my garden hut to another part of the garden and when i lifted the floor of the hut i found a bumble bees nest. I have noticed around 10 bubble bees coming from foundations of shed under decking what can i do there seems to be alto thank you for your help. We have a large bumble bee and keeps coming into our house, we keep putting outside and it’s back the next day. There must be a crack or crevice close to that area that the bee is coming in from…Find the location and seal it off. Bumble bees are pollinating bees, however they WILL sting, but some bumble bees will also spray feces, and some can throw up honey. Once in a while bumble bees will build a nest above the ground and they are usually on a wall, firewood pile, sheds, crawl spaces, or attics. When treating bumble bees hives, avoid the entrance opening of the hive when you are treating it because it will only increase the chance of being stung.
They are to be applied to small cracks and crevices in a structure with a bee might enter or build its nest near. Dust (DELTA DUST) and aerosol formulas (PT WASP-FREEZE AEROSOL, ALPINE AEROSOL) are generally preferred here. Then you will need to mix a liquid formula by following the label directions and then applying the entire volume of the mixed liquid directly to the nest on the ground (Fenvastar Ecocap, DEMON WP). Couple days later I have 5 bees come out of my fuenace room 4 died by the window 1 I let out.

We can’t sit on the porch or do yard work around the hedges because the numerous bees buzzing around. Also, to completely get rid of them, you need to find their nests because carpenter bees will nest in the wood and bumble bees may nest lower towards the ground or even burrow directly in the ground. They are getting in through a small hole in the foundation and are directly below the hole. However, we do offer products that will prevent them from damaging your wood frame should they return as well as insecticides to kill them. Both bumble bees and Carpenter bees are very similar in physical appearance and the two are often times mixed up. Bumble bees typically make nests in the ground or hives above ground but carpenter bees will bore into the wood and create nests inside the wood, usually soft wood or bare wood. For instance, they will make nests inside the wall void or inside old fallen trees that have spaces in the inside and etc. If you have a bumble bee problem, you should look into getting the right products to treat for them chemically or hire a professional to eradicate them from your property. If you find a hole on the side outside of your home, you will insert the tip of the duster with an extender (BELLOW BULB DUSTER) containing the dust into the hole and use as directed.
You might want to consider looking for a bee keeping company that will help you eradicate the bumble bees that are in the tiles. Carpenter bees usually have a smooth shiny black abdomen and bumble bees have yellow and black hairs on their abdomen. For now, I would recommended purchasing either a dust like Delta Dust or a liquid insecticide like Masterline Bifenthrin or Talstar Pro and applying them around the wood frame.
I’ve head an exterminator here twice ( they dusted the area), and they still come out as soon as I try to scoop leaves or do anything with tmy pond. I would recommend using Delta Dust, which is moisture-proof, and applying it in thin layers in and around the holes where you’re seeing the bumble bees come out.
Carpenter bees are infamous for ruining wood and making small holes that actually lead to greater chambers inside the wood. Carpenter Bees do actually drill into the wood which is why you may be seeing them from the wood. We recommend that you get a thorough inspection done and professionals may be able to find the nest for you.
I had a raccoon in there with its family, and decided to use a Black and Decker pest controller with ultrasonic sound waves.
People who are allergic to bumble bees, bees, wasps, hornet, etc., may end up having a serious medical condition or an allergic reaction.
You will need to apply using the amount that is directed on the label and may need to reapply if needed. Puff some in the holes and as they go through the channels that are coated in Delta Dust, they will die. If you have carpenter bees, purchase Trebor seal plugs so you can seal the holes they leave.
If you have any questions about bumble bees OR carpenter bees, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-788-4142. To get rid of Carpenter bees, you must treat the holes and the surfaces that they are infesting.

First and foremost, you will need to knock out the live adult bees and the way you can do that is to use a jet spray like PT Wasp Freeze or StingRay Spray. As the bees come in and out of the entrance way and come in contact with the dusted surface.
You will have to use a low pressure system with a pinpoint or variable patter nozzle to apply the spray mixture to areas such as cracks and crevices, in and around baseboards, and cracks and crevices outside of your home.
You will just need to attach a thin straw to the nozzle depending on the product, and spray into the void.
When dealing with bees, you should always be careful because, of course, they possess stingers. You may want to use this to contact kill the bees that are outside during the day before you try and treat their nests.
If nothing seems to work, then I would suggest waiting until the fall or winter, but you should still have an instant knockdown pesticide handy just in case a few stray bees try to attack you. Remember to always apply it before sunrise or after sunset so that the bees will be less active and less likely to sting you.
This may require inserting a dust product into the wood and also spraying the surface with a liquid concentrate insecticide. These jet sprays have been specifically designed so that you can spray flying, stinging insects like wasps, hornets, and bees from a safe distance. You may also want to get an instant knockdown aerosol like Wasp Freeze to kill any wandering bees that might bother you while you’re applying the dust.
Still, when you treat for bees, you should definitely wear protective clothing and that may require you to purchase a bee suit. Once you are sure that the majority have fallen and died, you can crawl to the hive and treat the hive with a dust like Delta Dust. Once you are sure that you have killed all active adult bees in your crawlspace, you can then apply a residual spray with liquid concentrate or with the Delta Dust. However, if you have a bumble bee infestation, you may want to use a product called Stingray to attack the nest. Delta dust is one of the most trusted dust products for such insects like bumble bees, carpenter bees and can be used for outdoor control because its one of the very few dust products that are moisture resistant. The Queen Bumble bee will lay her eggs and she will die and the workers and other queen bees will take care of the young. Once you have treated the hive, eliminate the hive so that bumble bees will not re-infest the same area. You do not want to apply both concentrate residual sprays and the dust product in the same area. When bees exit their nest, they fly straight out and will attack whatever is standing in front of them.
Also, all products have a product label and so you must read the label thoroughly before applying any pesticide.
