Like members of most any service club, we are local people who care about our community - care enough to give a little extra - a little extra time, effort, special expertise, and, yes, occasionally a little extra money (though our club's activities and fund raisers request only a nominal amount of financial support from our own members).

The individual members of our club hail from all corners of our community, and practice (or have retired from) any number of careers and professions. As our Lions club's only member age requirement is a minimum of 18, our club also sports a wide range of member birthdates.

So, what's the connection? What do we all have in common? Simple - a desire to 'lend a hand', to serve in our community, be it local or global. And, hey, if we happen to have some fun with our Lion comrades while performing our service, well, then, all the better.
